It's no worse than walking around in a soup of their sweat really. I just don't shower in public so it doesn't really affect me either way.

There were complaints at the beginning about the odor towards the beginning of the year regarding the dorm showers (all of which are stalls).

It carries, and it's certainly not pleasant.

Well I don't take gym in school anymore or go to one, but when i did i was fine with changing in front of other girls.
As far as public showers go i've never really had one but i've definitely showered in front of friends and vice versa and i don't have a problem with it.

I'd say at school, I'm more unconfortable, because of the whole you know all of these people, and you never know who's looking and who's ready to tell other people about you.

At a club, I don't mind the old men. I just tend to ignore them. They don't bite. Just avoid eye contact.
I was in a sauna and an old guy was doing the naughty.
At camp, we just shower with bathing suits.

As a last resort, I'd suggest wearing a speedo or a jock strap w/o a cup, as it'll be easy.

But yeah, it's always uncomfortable to shower naked.

If you're not a swimmer, or don't have fast access to a speedo, I wouldn't recommend going out and buying one for the sake of showering... that shit gets expensive; trust me.
