The title of Pyro699's topic made me wonder how many people are actually comfortable with 'dirty talk' in real life. It makes me so uncomfortable.Posted Image

for me, it depends on who i am talking to.

i find it REALLY wierd talking dirty to girls. hahaha. but with my circle of guy friends, it is really simple, and sometimes, instinctive. gosh. im so throughly 'polluted'.

It makes me pretty uncomfortable unless it's done jokingly. It certainly doesn't turn me on.

Haha! That would be awkward, changing gender roles and all that. Eugh, weird :p

I even find it hard to do even jokingly. It just weirds me out, I feel all vulnerable or something.

Definitely not. A lot of the time it just sounds pretty sleazy.

Dirty talk is really awkward unless there's sex and it's like really intense. Also, phone sex is the most uncomfortable thing for me.

dirty talk in a humours context is okay.
dirty talk in a sexual context is not, it makes me laugh out loud and let me tell you that is NOT a good idea :/

Phone sex is just a big no. :|

Laughing when there's sex involved is never good. I get giggly when things start getting, erm.. good. Which is always perceived as me laughing at them, which just kills the mood. T_T

    I love it. :)

You know, somehow I thought you'd say that. :)

There is an art to making someone hot just from talking.

About 90% of the dirty talk you will hear from me will be just humorous fun. Whenever I am talking to someone personally though, my dirty talk gets serious and they get wet. (I bet a few people here will use this chance to insult me).

I've honestly never had someone giggle at me, or lose interest when I talk dirty. So I cant be doing it wrong. :p

I guess it might be a confidence thing, it might sound better or something.
It just makes me really uncomfortable and rigid.

I talk dirty jokingly around people I know either in real life or on

the Interwebs, but I've never done it seriously to someone before.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of it, most of the time it's just awkward and I just avoid it as much as I can xD Only time it's quite alright is when things get intense, as Togepi said. At that time I couldnt care less :p

In humour terms, sure, why not. Only with people I'm comfy with. But I haven't really done that lately, all my co-workers are 30+ so it's pretty immature to do that at my work place where you have to act like a professional 24/7... and my friends are pretty sex-phobic in general, lol..

But in the sexual context it makes me uncomfortable in terms of like, not being upset but I just can't take someone seriously when they do that. It's like a horrible porno film gone awry.

I have used it in many a context. Recently though... just to my girlfriend... and I don't really class it as "dirty" - seeing as I'm pretty serious when I say something and her back to me. Sometimes it comes out as teasing, like when we're in a public place. So it is just a little messing around with our words before we have the chance to put our words into action. Beforehand though, I can say I found it uncomfortable when someone - or a friend said something like " Damn I want to fuck her so bad" to someone. Just came across as desperate, though I can say - they were. So this can't stand for absolutely everyone.

It depends on how explicit it is. When I talk to my girl, I get lyrical. But it's definitely explicit. I dislike the label 'dirty talk' as it implies that talking about sex is somehow... bad. You telling me you never talk while you're fucking? How boring!
