The more separate gifts the better. Girls are not that smart. If you gave a girl 50 presents worth 10 dollars (That she liked) or a three hundred dollar necklace. She would be more excited over the 50 presents, because it just feels like more. XD

I hate to agree, but you're right.

I would go for separate gifts. She'll be more impressed.

ugh, more brainwork on my part. I got her chocolates last year. Feels dumb to get chocolates for her again |:

Im sooo bad at buying gifts. Think a pair of sunglasses would cut it?

Also, would gifting her a ring send a wrong message across? :x

Sunglasses in winter? Unless she really loved sunglasses...

It depends what message you want to send her. Are you dating? Or does she at least know you like her?

As long as its a diamond. Then no problem

Honestly, if you dont know a person well enough to know what to give them, then you shouldn't be giving them anything. Otherwise its just fake.

Your curse has been lifted. :p

I disagree. Some people you can know your whole life and still not know what to get them, they're just generally hard people to buy presents for.

Just because your know someone your whole life, doesn't mean you know them well.

The point still remains the same. You should know what to get the person for a gift. If you dont know what they like/want, and you give them a gift, its just a pointless gift without meaning. Its fake.

I've always known what to get people. :|

I still don't agree. What if they don't even know what they want? How could someone else know what they want?

That statement goes both ways i guess. I think she has an idea that i like her, but I'm too shy to approach for now(she just broke up with her ex) and shes not the type to initiate.

We've known each other for 2years now, though i've only gotten close to her in around the 2nd year or so. If i were to say, im more of a close friend than anything else, which really sucks.

And about the sunglasses thing.. mm, I'm from asia so its sunny all year round D:

And dammit. Diamond rings n__n. gonna have to think of something else. Waay past my budget.

I got about USD$100 set aside for her :3

Oh, sorry. I assumed you were from the US for some reason. My bad.
Sunglasses would be good then :)
Maybe a designer pair, or something?

Sunglasses isn't really an amazing gift tbh. Unless she needs some or is into them?
What hobbys does she have? What is she into?

You could work this to your advantage and buy a gift that means you get to spend time with her, maybe an adventure day?

Girls never know what they want, but you can still get them gifts. :p

Its a matter of opinion anyways. I feel that giving someone a gift whenever you dont know what they want, is completely wrong. Its just pretending to know them, and they know it when you give them something that they dont even want. They think, "This person doesn't know me at all"

I feel sorry for you. The surprise is so much better. Plus you get an idea of how much they know you.

Wouldn't you love to open up the box and find that pair of shoes you have been dreaming about having for months now? Wouldn't that solidify your feelings that hes amazing, and make your day 20 times better?

    I guess I'm just old fashioned :|

Dammit, thats true. She did comment before that she gets really annoyed by the afternoon scorching sun, so i thought she might want a pair DX

Shes into dollfies and...cosplaying. Those dolls cost about US$500 for the good ones. As for cosplaying- I have no idea what she needs/wants. I thought of taking her out for dinner but she a really picky eater. So I might end up just treating her to ramen or something.

We have a list of stuff we want. We get little surprise things not on the list as well, though.
Generally I don't actually want anything that much anyway. I get most of what I want myself throughout the year, miss independent and all that.

    is she sporty? Or adventurous?

There's lots of activity days you can buy and spend together like hot air ballon rides or track racing days? Some thing to bring you together.

but maybe if she moans about the sun in her eyes and likes fasion then designer sunglasses would be fine.

its just about knowing what type of person she is :)
