On the subject of Christmas, I am furious.
My parents had offered to buy me one of the 3g Ipads so I could take notes on it in class and whatever, but there's rumors that the Ipad2 is supposed to release around February.
So there's no point in buying one when a new and better version will release in a few months.
But I'm also about as impatient as they come.

On the subject of Star Wars, it just never really caught on for me.
My boyfriend owns all the movies and whatever, but after about 5 minutes, I get fidgety/bored and stop watching.

I dont understand why everyone is for multiple smaller presents. Isn't it nicer to give one present that will mean alot to her, instead of 2 presents that won't be as memorable? I don't like getting tons of presents because then the "specialness" or whatever just gets less, but that's just me I'm known to have expensive taste so I guess thats why I never get more than 1 present... QQ

Here are its flaws

1)No flash
2)No keyboard (ever tried to take notes on a touchpad? It sucks massively. A Netbook will give you ten times faster typing speed. So you can keep up with your professor)
3)Its touchscreen. Probably the worst thing for taking notes. write to fast, and it doesnt capture everything, write slowly and you fall behind in your notes.
4)Tiny amount of applications support. Want to use it for anything but taking notes/small games? good luck
5)You cant replace the battery.
6)No security at all
7)NO FUCKING FLASH
8)You have to use safari
9)Overheats


I'm just trying to prevent you from wasting 500 dollars for no reason at all . You wont want to use it in school. If thats what your planning on doing. You can get a lighter netbook for cheaper.

The second release of the Ipad is supposed to change a lot of things, so I'm not so concerned.
Ipads were never meant to be a replacement for a computer, it's just an extensionary tool really.
I already have an Imac, and a macbook. So I have no need for another 'computer' of sorts.

I don't have an iPhone because I have service with Verizon.
I'm mostly just looking for something a smidge smaller than my macbook than i can use to quickly look up things if needed, or to dick around with on long car rides, etc.

Not a problem at home obviously, but there's not really just outlets all over the place at university to plug into.

I would save my money, grow some balls and then ask her out on a date (using that money to do something fun with her).

1. Dont rush her and be the rebound guy. But it's been 2 months so you're cook. Rebounds are (generally fairly quick after the breakup. You don't want to be the rebound guy because, quite frankly... Rebound relationships are just that... They get her back on her feet and confident then it's bye byes.
