Great film. Am planning to see it again in the near future. Hauntingly beautiful and equal parts disturbing. It's a great companion piece to his earlier work The Wrestler (which is also fucking awesome if you haven't seen it yet). I was never too moved by Portman but she is fantastic in this.

Yeah, it was a good movie -> downloaded it with good quality. Besides the "scene" it was well directed and actually kept my interest the entire movie

Man I saw this movie with friends, and I really didn't enjoy this movie that much. I can respect the film but just didn't enjoy it. IMO it was pretty predictable, and the people behind me were just plain stupid asking why the girl is crazy.

My friend was going on forever about this movie. He hyped it up pretty well, so I think I'm gonna see it. Or at least download it. I trust him since he has pretty good taste and when he freaks out about it, it's amazing.

It's a DVD copy used for promotional purposes only that was put online. (instead of a camera copy)

Pretty good movie btw.

The sex and masturbation scenes fit well with the development of the character as they are stepping stones in her descent into madness. They are steamy scenes, and some people may find them hard to watch, but they add to the overarching themes and to her timid, sexually repressed character that really gives her character and the narrative more substance.

It's not wrong to enjoy it, but it shouldn't be the single basis to see the film. That's what porns for

K just watched it in theaters, a REALLY good movie.
Not a must watch, but its really twisted and creepy but in a way that it makes a good movie.

I've always thought Requiem was pretty good, but never really understood it's acclaim. I feel like Fountain was a better film but the reaction to it is fairly polarized.

An ending sequence in Requiem where Jennifer Connelly's character and another female are doing certain acts for money. I'm sure you can piece the rest together.

All my hipster/artsy friends kept raving about it but since they like to over-hype everything I didn't really bother. But when I saw this post on codex it motivated me to download it haha. It was pretty good! I liked it a lot. Esp. the costumes and makeup.

I thought BS was well directed.. just a little too dark for my liking I must admit. If you liked BS I would recommend the movie The Fighter.. Christian Bale's acting-> so good!

I plan on seeing this tonight. I heard that the sex scenes were weird and creepy, but tastefully done - ie, not too graphic.
