there is no "right" age
maturity and the soundness of the relationship are the factors that should contribute the most into the decision
& even this will vary from person to person

And you got two people's views.Just want to see others peoples view, thats all
I don't understand this post...
Soundness of the relationship? I'm sorry, if you're losing your virginity at 14, the 'soundness' of the relationship means shit.maturity and the soundness of the relationship are the factors that should contribute the most into the decision
& even this will vary from person to person

do i think 14 is too young
but my grandmother was married at 15 and having children and her and my grandfather are in love
today is a different time, but you cannot pick and age and say "that's it!"
why is it ridiculous?I think nowadays it's ridiculous how many people have meaningless sex
what tells you having sex with another individual simply for pleasure is wrong?
(considering that both persons are taking all of the proper precautions)

Sex is meaningless. The only 'meaning' you find in it is merely fabricated by chemicals in your brain.I think nowadays it's ridiculous how many people have meaningless sex

Nature -wants- you to have sex. they want you to procreate.
ETA: If at any time sex is meaningless, is when you use a condom :3

I mean if you're in a relationship and you guys have really deep feelings for eachother but your not married obviously you're not going to try and make babies. i mean it as "your so hot i wanna have sex with you..one night stands" kinds of things
...
yeah, was this supposed to be a valid argument?

I'm not picking an age. Merely saying that 'soundness of relationship' is not something you should base it on. Mainly because your views are going to change based on your level of maturity. Soundness of relationship is looped into maturity. If you're ignorant and you think you're in love, it's not going to mean shit, regardless of how 'sound' your relationship is.it is all really subjective

when it comes to virginity wouldn't you rather have it lost to someone whom you at least thought you loved
even if it was some figment created by immaturity

okay also
clearly not someone who is sound of mind
they are not taking the proper precautions
(ie birth control)
and their aim is not to seek out physical pleasure, but instead to manipulate a situation

I just don't think you should use it for pleasure only.
...
why not?
simply repeating the same phrase over and over without a valid argument is just silly

No. I did lose it to someone whom I thought I loved. Now I don't even remember it. It's not a big deal...when it comes to virginity wouldn't you rather have it lost to someone whom you at least thought you loved
even if it was some figment created by immaturity
That's all it is. If I need to fuck someone to say I love you, something's wrong.I just don't think you should use it for pleasure only.
