My cousin took it, loved it and secured herself a nice job from contacts made during it, I believe. A lot of her projects sounded really fun.Has/does anyone done/do Event Management as a course? I always thought that would be awesome to take as a degree.

Yea, was just hoping to get my degree in 4 years as opposed to 6 but mehHaha. Probably. And it's not that hard to get a Business degree. You're obviously good with math. Just be able to tune out all your teachers and you'd be done in no time.

Current: Chemistry with a minor in Education.
thinking of changing to Political Science, though....
Haha, if you want to be depressed go ahead...Poli Sci is a horrible major, those who choose to be that are a glutton for punishment. =D
Seriously, most of poli sci would get you depressed I guess.

That's a horrible way to select what you study. Study what you are interested in and enjoy purely for the sake of doing it. Study that subject which keeps you up at night because it's just so damn interesting. If you don't do what you love, how will you ever do great work?My major will be whatever my parents want mine to be....I think the job of the month is computer science....o.0

How will you ever get through university?! I love my degree so much and there have still been moments over the past 3 1/2 years where I've despised it, I can't imagine forcing myself through something I had no particular love for. That's a horrible way to select what you study. I'm so saddened by parents effectively choosing what their children study.

Hey, I'm just thankful that they aren't making me go into medicine or health or something like that. And the things I'm interested in have so many other people interested in it that there's no way I can compete.... plus it won't pay good. (eg: GFX designer). Besides. I'm a 15 year old in gr 11 without a single graphic course and I only took art once in gr 9 for my "arts" credit. No university would accept me

GFX designers don't get paid good? I thought they did
Anyway I agree with Hydro, not a great way to pick a degree if you don't really want to go into it
