When the WoE became active again I saw that a lot of people complained about the $500 price tag and discussed whether or not it was worth even playing. As a "mini" experiment, I logged every spin on my main so far this month. Here are the findings:

I spun the wheel 42 times. That cost me exactly $21,000 nps. I won $5,000 np once and $2,500 nps five times. Most of the time I landed on the ? so I logged all those amts less than $500 and calculated that I won a total of $27,379. So I profited $6,379. In addition I had my pets zapped by lightning 3 times, got 1 skull, 1 lava ghoul and 1 pant devil (irrelevant since I clear my inventory before spinning any of the wheels). Twice I had my pets health restored and I also won MP worth $9000.

Overall, I would say it is worth it, especially now that Healing Springs is fully functioning again and able to undo the lightning zaps and skull. The overall profit was only about $15,000 in 19 days, but certainly worth my time until I get that avatar!

I will update the findings after more data has been collected.

I've been coming out on top or at least breaking even for the past few days since I've been back. 2500, Pant Devil (stole a soggy box! OH NO!) and 500

Be happy to help you with some data until I get that Av.

I figured this wheel wasn't worth it.. cause i landed on the ? or something shit everytime. I didn't play it for a week, after that i got 2.500 in a row for 4 days, then a orange koi mp then i finally hit the avatar and was buzzing. Since then i've had mostly ?'s and the 2.5 which hasn't been that bad xD

Still waiting for the other wheel avvies though :/

    So awesome!

I was thinking of adding some functions so people could auto add up over time.
    IE:
for count von roo if you logged your levels as +1 -1 +4 etc it could add that all up and give you a net. Another one is it will add up np, it extracts np if a number is followed by " NP" or just "NP". What do you think?

I actually think that'd be a pretty good idea, a lot of people do like to keep track but are way to lazy to actually do the math :p

Logging everything is a good idea. It's nice to know that I can still make some profit from my favorite wheel. Thanks!

wheel's pretty good. I usually get the question mark but most of the time it's made up when I get 2,500. Those are usually the only np giving ones I land on

I'm only spinning the wheel until I get the avatar. Already stopped spinning mediocrity and the haunted woods one.

Even getting a 5000np win just once already sets you clear for the next 10 spins (and it's not that rare). Plus, 500np is really low anyways. Spinning it on every cooldown would only use up 730k a year (it's once every 6 hours right?) and assuming you get the ? every spin, the most you could lose is around 300k.

I always tought most of the dailies were not worth the time.
I'm starting to regret that I stopped doing the dailies (mostly for the avatars).

actually. I always found the dailies to be pretty rewarding. You won't get tons of np like you would for ab'ing but sometimes you'll get lucky

I've gotten some pretty good things from dailies! Faeries at Tombola and whatnot. Besides, there's always chances of getting RE's while doing dailies.

I totally knew it was worth it from day 1. Plus, 500 nps isn't that hard to get when you get 300 nps from one game of Fashion Designer. The worst I got were some expensive diseases that are easily cured by the healing faerie next door.
Also I think the time of day affects what kind of prize you win. I can't confirm this, but after spinning the wheel many times I've noticed I gotten rotten prizes during certain times. I guess we can call it the Coltzan Shrine effect.

No, you can spin WoE every 2 hours. Setting a neoalert helps!

Yup. Occasional bottled faeries and codestones, and yesterday the DMP gave me an item worth $94,000.

Good idea, only that would fit for the wheel of missfortune, not in the wheel of "excitement" xD

This. I hate dailies, I'd rather be ABing. I don't even care if they make you look more legit...

But then no one would ever play it. That's a bad wheel as it is.

You know what would be a np sink? Walking through the Ice Caves should have a small chance of freezing your account.

Oh I don't know. I would be pretty "excited" if I lost all my nps on some stupid wheel. Excited enough to let fly a few choice curse words...

Haha. It probably does. TNT freezes for just about everything else.

I'd be interested to see what the stats are like for other wheels, personally, once I've obtained the relevant avatar for a wheel I tend to stop spinning. It'd be good to know if the other wheels would provide a profit whilst waiting to receive the avatar.
