Macs aren't very popular in Malaysia. In fact, probably every other casual user can't tell you what Mac is. Not surprising, considering that it's almost triple the price of an average laptop here and everyone just uses it for Facebook anyway.

*Windows
*Mac
*Linux
All users should be voting "PC" as PC stands for Personal Computer, which Macs fall under the category of xD
While i have used all 3, my personal favorite is Linux, then Windows... and i wont even include Mac in my list because it is a bitch to program for xD
Anyways... as argue stated, we have big plans in the works

PCs are far and away better in price, reliability, (usually) customer service, and usage.
Macs are for people who KANT DUE TEH PCZ.
Gonna disagree with you on the customer service. Apple has been great. You actually get a live person who speaks english within minutes, and who's not reading off a computer screen list to diagnose your problem. And many of the problems they will diagnose and fix for free, even if your computer is no longer under warranty. Mac cs rocks! There is nothing worse than having a cs call routed to Indonesia after holding for 90 minutes so a guy I can barely understand starts by saying "Av you tride rebooteen yore com pooder?"

I use both, but I only use Neocodex programs on a PC because I mainly use the Mac for gaming (not online games)/photo editing/etc.
Why would you use your Mac for gaming?

I think he might have meant game development (which is understandable), he did mention "Not for online games"Why would you use your Mac for gaming?

Your opinion became void of objectivity after that last sentence.PCs are far and away better in price, reliability, (usually) customer service, and usage.
Macs are for people who KANT DUE TEH PCZ.
Most Mac users have used Windows machines in their lifetimes... it's rare to see a person who hasn't used Windows in the last... twenty years? That's a question because I can't remember how long Microsoft has had a worldwide monopoly (at least a vast market share) on operating systems.
Also, I'm pretty sure reliability, customer service and quality are all points in Apple's favor, not Windows. I'm not sure what you mean by 'usage' because it's a vague word; if you mean you can whip a PC until it dies under you, that's probably true of Mac as well. If you mean more software is available for PC, you should have said that instead.
Price is subjective. If you want a barebones laptop, you're free to buy one. If you want top of the line, buy a Mac. Don't complain about what you pay for, it's inevitably a problem of anticipation v. reality of the situation.
Yes, we all know PC means personal computer... but Apple commercials call them PCs, so it must be true, right?First of all, your poll should be:
*Windows
*Mac
*Linux

I've used all three systems. I used PC from faintest memory until senior year of high school, then I got a laptop and threw Linux Ubuntu on it. That lasted me until about a month ago (so.. three years on linux) when I got a MacBook Pro. Once I'm up to speed on terminal, I'm sure OSX won't be a problem.

Just wait a little longer.Hopefully, that percentage at some point will be large enough that programmers will consider making more of the programs Mac compatible. Thanks!

I have absolutely no complaint at all about the Customer Service on my computer. And anyone who buys a computer from Costco will agree. Best Customer Service in the industry. As for quality, the parts come from the same exact manufacturer. If you fooled yourself into thinking your Mac is better quality, I feel bad for you.
And Mac's are not top of the line. My 948 dollar Windows based computer (With tax and shipping) is better then any Mac that they offer. Do not for a single second think that Mac's are better because they cost more. They cost more because they are over priced. Simple as that.
(P.S. I hate this shared avatar service. I thought you where jcrboy and was like, "What is wrong with you man?")
Anyways. This topic has nothing to do with which is better. Its just who uses what.

I'm gonna go ahead and say you've never dealt with Toshiba's customer service. They're amazing, and even pay for shipping.

Oh... Pretty sure. So you don't actually know.
Thanks for playing anyways.

I've spoken with plenty of Indian people while dealing with Apple support.
