Did we just have a drop in Codex for like 10-20 minutes?

It's a server issue, the admins are currently dealing with it I think.

No idea. :p You'd have to ask an admin about that, I'm not even sure they know what's causing it yet.

I wish I could tell you guys what was going on, but at the moment, I'm not exactly sure. We've gotten some responses about the server randomly dying from the host, but I'm not sure I believe them. We think it has to do with how we've loaded PHP in the server (running under fast CGI). We're going to try an alternate method that is a bit more stable by the looks of it (but is not officially supported by the host), to see if we can get some improvements. I know this is really annoying and totally unacceptable as far as running a service goes. We're working on it and hope to have it solved as soon as possible. We'll keep you posted on the updates as they come in :).

Maybe you guys will get it figured out soon. I agree with you Kuro, even when it doesn't go down for other people it seems to go down for me. It isn't too big a deal, though. As long as it's nothing major.

I'll be rebuilding PHP on the server tonight and moving the site over to php-fpm instead of spawn-cgi. It's supposed to be better for stability, so we'll see.
