I do like the new 8-bit Grundo, but the 8-bit Chomby is slowly growing on me also.
Still waiting for the "best" 8-bit though, but the Mystery Island background is pretty sweet at least.

Agree, the others do not look like those Neopets. The chomby could be perfectly a normal dinosaur from somewhere. And same with the Kougra, it could be any tiger. But the Grundo really looks like a Grundo should look!

I love how the 8-Bit Grundo looks. The key is not making it an ugly ass side profile image.

To be fair, it's a lot easier for you to think the grundo doesn't look generic because unlike the others, there isn't something real and common that looks a lot like the grundo.

To be fair, it's a lot easier for you to think the grundo doesn't look generic because unlike the others, there isn't something real and common that looks a lot like the grundo.

i dont like the other 8 bit due to their clothes. it doesnt fit and seriously looks wierd. that isnt the case for grundo though

Damn, this one actually really looks like it came out from an old-school game. TNT is going to have a difficult time trying to make other 8-bits look as good as this.

Um... they've only started releasing them two weeks ago. the grundo is from Tuesday. Seriously, they haven't had TIME to release any since the grundo.

Yeah pretty much. I hope we get 8bit colours for Koi Day and Yurble Day which are coming up. I honestly love the colour. I love that every species looks different with it (well, so far). I can't stand that about converted pets. Grey used to be my favorite colour, and look at them now..

The grundo looks straight out of an old-school PC game.
I wish they'd release 8-bit clothes that mimic old video games. That would make 8-bit pets a lot more appealing. My chomby needs something to wear, and he refuses to sport Laker colors.
