What's going on with neopets lately?? Yesterday there was a huge incident where basic pets that were rotting on old accounts were taken and turned into UCs!

Sara the green basic shoy on the account "neri" was taken and turned into a UC RoyalGirl Kyrii! A guy had swapped pets with her without even going on her account. The pet n578451 has taken place with Sara.


Spirit the yellow basic gelert on the account "caroline_pittman" was taken and turned into a UC Faerie Draik! Same guy did the same thing. The pet n57845 swapped places with Spirit.

He has been frozen but this is creepy that he was able to take these pets and turn them into UCs.


Same thing with the pet "Mischief"

I saw that.
The guy who did it is on another cheating site I believe.
Its crazy and from what people are saying its not even coded to look that way.

People were thinking that they arent really changed just coded to look that way.
But they arent coded to look like a UC, they really are.

perhaps he is hacking the site to change the pets
pretty awesome and i am sure his prices are quite high - i imagine plenty of people would give an arm and a leg to turn a newly purged pet name into a high end UC

The pet names were on accounts that were never log into.
thats to problem its causing.

Probably why neopets has been so laggy lately too

And I couldn't really imagine someone buying the service if they know he got frozen for it, only if he made it undetectable could it be sellable. And I assume people would notice if a newly purged pet was UC and not old enough to be UC, therefore that account would be frozen as well.

Hmm but he managed to create pets that were old enough though

More like a few people, if TNT saw it happening to tons of accounts then they would probably stop freezing them, or if a very reputable account was compromised.

I saw the whole Mischief thing yesterday or the day before. The pet got passed through a few accounts.

Maybe it's a disgruntled ex-employee?

I just think it was kind of stupid of him (or her) to do it to pets that never purged.

I mean, yeah, a UC RG Kyrii named Sara is amazing and would trade highly in the PC, but people were recently going crazy over the purge and stalked a gazillion names so of course he would get caught using an unpurged RN pet.
If he did it to pets that had original created names, then he would've probably done it without really being detected. (Well, that's what I think anyway).

Wish I was him. I'd love a UC RG Kyrii. Haha.

Oh, but if he was just doing all of this for kicks and laughs and to create havoc on the PC, then he's doing an amazing job.

This would be the most likely scenario if he did have access to the database, although I would imagine he could've done much worse things (like changing every Neopet to level 1).
