So i recently started using Abrosia, and im new to using proxies which seems to be very important in this matter. I just dont understand why?

A proxy's function is to mask the IP amirite?
But why is that neccesary, the whole thing is supposed to look human and most legit neopets users is not masking their IP.
We are not using multiple accounts using abrosia, in which case i would understand the need for a proxy.

Hoping for some clarification, thanks in advance

If you have only one account you don't need to use a proxy but for people who have one main account and several other accounts which they use for cheating on it's usually a good idea to use individual proxies for those other accounts. If they manage to make the other accounts look like different people then if they get caught cheating Neopets won't be able to link the accounts easily to the main account and it should be spared from being frozen.

If your only AB'ing on one account, your main for instance (which isnt recommended) then no you dont need to use a proxy.

I proxy because I AB on shell accounts rather than risk my main getting iced, for obvious reasons the IP address used on my main cannot get tied in with these shells or it will eventually get iced as well.

I strongly advise you invest in a shell or two and use proxys to protect your main and home IP, after all it doesnt take much extra effort.

Ya proxies benfit very well when it comes to multi accounts learned that the hardway there is alot of free proxies out there and alot update daily

How do you get neopoints/items, to your main account, when using shells, without it being suspicious

Shops are usually the safest option, but they take a reeeaaallly long time if dealing with large amounts.I would suggest at least adding a premade lookup to your shell+ getting a decent avatar.

Could you set up a guild with your main as the leader and your shells making guild donations? or would that send up red flags for TNT

I feel like when I use a proxy, its so slow that I can't restock a THING. Any people found a ways to still work just as fast?

Proxies screwed up my net (I'm one of the unlucky ones)
So I stopped using them. Not using proxies is fine if you don't have that many accs.

Hidemyass lists proxy speeds if the ones you tried were too slow.

I personally don't us a proxy when using abrosia. Hopefully that doesn't up the risk factor of me being frozen =\ I do only have one account, and as stated above I don't need to use one, but there's always that thought that it's possible. And I don't feel like losing everything. But when it's the only way I can successfully RS i'd say it's worth it

Don't use it too much right now as I haven't unlocked the full potential of it. But once I hit 500 posts, oooo. Going to be some fun times

It should be noted that ABing with a proxy does have its disadvantages...you won't get many items unless you're pretty lucky since, you know, you get latency and all that associated with using a proxy, which means that responses will be a lot slower unless you have a pretty fast and local proxy. That's what I've seen from my experience anyways.

Yep, very true. Proxies tend to slow everything down so ABing with a proxy just doesn't make sense. You'd be missing
many items compared to not using a proxy

Not too sure. If anything i'd say you'd be doubling the risk of getting iced IF you also
AB on your main. Hell, there's probably additional risk considering you're not
supposed to be making neopoints on alts. So you'd probably have a good chance
of getting your accounts iced. Just depends how long TNT takes to notice NP
activity on your alt

I'm using a diff email, and I've already emailed them about my siblings using other accounts, so I'd say that isn't a problem.

Well, just be careful is all I can say. If your "sibling" is caught i'm sure you'll still be frozen as well. I know they had
an editorial about the sibling issue a while back. I'll try to find it and report back.

I legitimately have a younger sister to plays Neopets and has invested quite a lot into her account. I'd feel pretty guilty about her getting chain frozen with me.
