I legitimately have a younger sister to plays Neopets and has invested quite a lot into her account. I'd feel pretty guilty about her getting chain frozen with me.

If you two don't share the same computer/IP then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. If you plan on cheating and someone close to you, such as your sister, has legitimately put much into her account, BE SURE that you're not 1.) using the same computer and 2.) share the same IP address and you should very well be safe in the off chance you got frozen.

As always, be careful :)

We both use the same wireless connection but play on separate lap tops, does that constitute us as having identical IPs? I'm not very literate on this, sorry!

It would probably be a good idea to put your main acc on a different email...I'm just getting in to this, but that seems pretty reasonable.

I'm using two friend's accounts who haven't played in years, and UVA has multiple ways to protect my ip, so they are all on different ips all the time.

And if you were to tap on to your neighbor's network, it'd be a different ip?

Yes. It's IP would be near to yours, but it would be different.

But it could probably be conected to your own if they were to investigate

Yeah well, they'd hardly go into that much effort besides note that providers for those two IPs are from the same general area/neighborhood. Unless you live in nowheresville where only you and a friend play Neopets, I'd hardly credit that latching onto your neighbor's IP would get you chain frozen. But then again, with TNT, you never really know for sure.

They have billions on their servers... Information comes in every single second. It'd not be worth the effort to catch a little fry. Unless you're ab-ing big time of course.

TNT doesn't only check your IP.
They can see that you are on different computers, different times, and both with different activity.

However, if you gift/lend her tons of items/Np/neopets,
anyone cuold think that both accounts belong to the same person ( ---> Chain Freeze)

They could also ban her for scamming if she receives large sums of NP (in exchange for junk) in one trade. I accidentally got someone banned by doing that. >_> Of course, that's more likely if they think the people involved are two separate people.

I think I'm an idiot for asking this... but how do you have abroisia go to the proxy? I really don't get the IP address/port and HTML thingy... Posted Image
EDIT: Got it... but by pressing Use a http proxy... I'll be restocking using the proxy right?

How do you recommend transferring stuff?

I'm very rarely ever on the same ip, and have four different accounts. I really just started doing this so I never thought about them looking at what you gift each account.

I just use the "gift item" option.
But don't abuse of it, because then TNT could think that you are the same person using bots (even if you're not).
