Mac OS X Program Manager Working Again (Actually)

Alright, sorry for the false hope we gave a couple days eariler saying that the Mac OS X Program Manager is fixed. It should be fixed now (it is confirmed to work on Leopard 10.5 and Snow Leopard 10.6). I'd like for more people to confirm though, just to make extra sure. tongue.gif

The Mac version is still beta, so feel free to report weird things you see, but it should actually be working now:

For the record, getting applications to run in Mac OS X properly is one of the most painful things to do, haha.

Nothing makes logical sense, and in programming, this is a deeply troubling thing. :p

Fixing.. I know what the problem is, thankfully. Will update this thread when the new version is up.

What caused it (out of curiosity)?

The programs use the Python Imaging Library to figure out how to bypass the "Click the pet" thing when you are buying an item. PIL needs to have jpeg support built into it separately, and I forgot to do that. Because the pet image thing is a JPEG image, it is giving an error.

EDIT: It's taking forever to install this jpeg thing on my Mac VM, I'll post when I get it working. :p

JPEG bug is fixed.
Make sure the .dmg you download says "Build 5" in it, and it should work. :D

You had better re-download that Build 5 dmg, or you will be disappointed as it errors out while buying an item. :p

The program loads fine and then every time I try and run a program it tells me to login or relogin.

Am I missing something?

*sigh* Fixing... again.... The worst part is that I can't reproduce the error on my machine anymore. :/ I'll see what I can do.

EDIT: Updated with new download: http://www.neocodex...._024_Build6.dmg

At least that kind of stuff we can fix remotely. We'll look into it. Just put everything in the Tracker here: http://www.neocodex....rogram-manager/
