I win this thread, hands down. I am, without a doubt, the clumsiest person person you will ever come across. I fall down stairs at least once a day, i trip over objects that dont even exist. Every time i leave the house, i come home with numerous bruises i didnt have to start with. I break EVERYTHING, including my own bones. Today, i accidently lit my hair on fire when trying to make noodles. Yesterday i fell over at work, because there was a black line on the floor and it scared me. yes, the line was 2D, but thats besides the point....

I dont climb things anymore, the results are generally disastrous. I even try not to drive when given a choice. those telegraph poles come out of no where :|
I've had stitches everywhere, skin grafts, blood transfusions; you name it, ive had it.

Got any pics to show? :p Fuck, you win for sure. I agree, how the hell do you set your hair on fire making noodles?? haha

hot damn! that looked similar to mine, except mine went horizontal across my thigh.
Yours looks way more gory though. Hope you're workplace covered any expenses you might've accrued

Like i said, this isnt my leg or my injury but very similar. This one looks a lot worse than mine did. All i required was those strips and a small bandage to cover it. No hospital or anything so no expenses. I got to sit down for the rest of the day at a computer and get paid so i wasnt complaining :)

Cheers mate :) Oh and another injury i recall was when i was at work (in the factory im working at now) pushing a stack of 50L bins along the ground. One got caught on a bit of flooring that was cracked and i went stumbling over the top of them all. I ended up gashing my shin and required minor medical attention but it was a decent gash :)

DO NOT CLICK HERE IF YOURE SQUEAMISH ABOUT BLOOD ETC

    Spoiler

    Whoa!
I also have another my friend Evan, his dad was a commercial fisherman and his arm got caught in one of those giant reels and he lost his right arm. What's funny is whenever I go visit he always sets me up for armless jokes for his dad.

I once got this really wide sliver behind my fingernail, that went through the tip of my finger where my fingernail ends and went all the way to the bottom where the fingernail starts.

It really really hurt, and there was this bubble underneath my fingernail until it healed properly. <_<

I'd have to find them. They're probabaly very gruesome though!
and i was using a gas stove, left my hair out, got to close; and that was it for me :p
thank god the stove is right near the sink though, i ran over and drowned my hair in water. luckily most of its still there xD

My sister does that too, to the point where they get all bloody and gross without her even noticing. Then again, how do you not notice when you start biting off chunks of skin? O_o

I think that when she gets distracted, she can't distinguish between skin and nail, and just keep biting. Pretty stupid xD

Just dont do it to your big toenails :( (well not bite them cause thats gross enough, but pick at them/cut them too low). Ingrown toenails are a fucking painful thing to have to deal with. Even more so once they cut it out, while youre awake and slightly numbed (slightly). Speaking from experience if you couldnt tell..... :p

and the stove thing i can understand. Im glad im not a chick or a dude with long hair (*cough* PYRO *cough*) :p

The thing is, that once you get to the 'point of no return' and it is hurting like a mofo, you tend to always keep going with it anyway. Its like, 'well it hurts enough now, it cant get any worse.... right?' lol im bad for that one.

Lol, i totally thought that this was for discussing self-inflicted emo injuries.

My worst injury was when i was biking as a kid and cycling over a narrow, rickety plank across this huge storm drain in the afternoon. It was too narrow to walk the bike across and it was either i leave the bike there to be, probably, stolen or go the long way and be 30 minutes late for my class. So i did what any sane person would do, i tried to cycle across. The plank snapped and i fell and hit my spine on something hard (thank God it wasn't sharp). Next thing i know, i wake up gasping for air, unable to speak or move for some strange detached reason, and it night. Good thing it didn't rain or i wouldn't be here re-living that incident. :D

    Age: 4
    Location: My house
    Culprits: My sister

So I'm playing tag with my sister running down the stairs trying to catch her, we reach the front hallway and I end up slipping on our lineoleum flooring, rally not that bad. There is a catch however, someone decided it would be a great idea to put this sharp shoe stand in the corner with 3 kids under the age of 12 in the house. I slip and my heads perfectly slams into the shoe stand giving me this brutal stab wound that went through my skull; about an inch or so. I don't think it was too many stitches as it was depth not length in this case.

I hit myself in the elbow with a yoyo and destroyed my funny bone... lost all feeling/couldn't move the arm. It was like crazy numb the whole day. And I blacked out from hitting myself with a yoyo, from getting hit with a football, and playing oboe...

When were growing up, my younger sister had a weird tendency to drag junk she found outside home, usually just sticks or rocks or random garbage. My mother was kinda out of it in those days so she really didnt give too much of a crap about the whole thing. Anyway, when I was about 8 she brought home a huge (maybe a foot or two long? Can't remember) rusty, metal spring. When we got back from playing outside, she threw it on the bed. About an hour later, I had forgotten that she'd put it there so I started jumping on the bed, myself not being the sharpest tool in the box. I somehow managed to land directly on it, and found myself with a huge metal spring stuck in my foot so bad that even my mother couldn't pull it out. We wound up going to the hospital, where they finally got it out. It was in my foot for maybe 2 or 3 hours though, and hurt like a bitch. Other than that, I was a pretty quiet, nerdy kid, and didn't get hurt too much growing up.

eww strat. Just reading your first post made me want to skip all the other ones :p

I've had hundreds of scrapes, bruises and cuts. A few scars. Especially on my legs and knees (had a skateboarding phase back then because the guys across the street were doing funky things on ramps and shit and it looked cool....didn't go very well) :/

The worst I've had was when I was using the sander machine in IT class and accidentally sanded off the tips of my fingers because some retard bumped me. Six fingers were bloody and painful for ages and I swear I walked around with my fingers in my mouth for the next week :/ And have you ever sanded off your fingers? It looks bloody disgusting!

Dumbest and most recent injury was in art class a few weeks ago. We were cutting frames for our art pieces with razors and I reached out to stop one from falling. Sliced my hand open but it didn't actually hurt and it didn't start bleeding until a few minutes later. Basically it went "ow" *looks at hand* (friend) "are you ok?" "Yeah I'm fine." And the next minute blood is pouring buckets onto my frame....and all I said was "Ah man! That was the last piece of blue construction paper!" *was very heartbroken* :( :p

Still. Never I've never broken a bone, sprained anything nor needed stitches. Never gone to the hospital for an injury and heck I don't even use bandages unless it's a blister on my foot :/ All in all I think I'm a durable kid lol

Soul your leg break sounds similar to mine. I had the bone protruding from the front of my leg though. I had surgery to correct it and now have a steel plate bolted to the bone on my right leg. Goes from just below the knee to just above my ankle.

Haha, this thread amuses me. I'm probably one of the prize winners for this category; my family calls me Missus Klutz to this very day.

When I was 2 I pulled on my dogs tail when she was sleeping so that she'd play with me. Instead I nearly had my face torn off.

When I was 3 my dad left me alone in the car and I started to push buttons. After one popped out I grabbed it and thought it was a red lollipop and stuck it in my mouth. Turned out it was cigarette lighter instead.

When I was 4 I fell into the fireplace when we were camping and killed my two front teeth; they were black until they fell out. I also jumped on the bed a lot at this age and landed right on my tennis shoe one day. I tore a lot of things down stairs and had to have stitches.

When I was 5 I was swinging on a bar in our camper and fell, landing on a knife and slicing my foot open.

When I was 7 I was trying to impress a boy I like in class and jumped on top of my desk when the teacher wasn't around. Instead of being suave I slipped and fell right onto the corner of the counter, slicing my forehead open and getting a concussion. Then in 5th grade I decided to ride my bike down a very steep incline plane to get to a park; instead I hit a rock flipped over my handlebars and had my bike land on top of my head (my helmet got thrown off when I flipped) which meant another concussion. To this day I have two bumps on my head that feel like horns.

In 7th grade I fell off my scooter and slid down a hill full of gravel; the doctors had to scrape out the dirt and rocks with a metal brush and I had to painfully regrow all the skin back because nothing was left; there's still rocks in the scar.

In 8th grade I grabbed a door wrong and broke my pinky. About a month ago I broke my index finger learning nunchucks.

In high school I dislocated my shoulder doing a dumb snowboard move, had my foot run over and fractured by my friends while my parents were out of town, and sliced the fingertips off of my right hand while cooking.

To make all of these even worse I have a very rare blood disorder that doesn't let my blood clot very well and I get sick; a lot, a lot. :whistling:
