The worst injury I had was me falling down onto the cement when I was small, leaving a huge gash. It was disgusting. It was pretty big... Small injuries are the most annoying.. >< Otherwise, that is actually the only major injury I had so far O_o. I guess i'm just really careful :)
What are some of your worst self-inflicted injuries that happened on accident?

Worst ive had is a badly broken leg playing ice hockey. Bone was sticking out the front of my leg :/ other than that i sliced my hand up using a buffing machine and a metal rod that i thought it would be fun to see if it would get caught..... it did, then spun around so fast i had no time to pull my hand away. Sliced up the top part of my right hand and left me with needing 28 stitches and tendon damage to the anterior ligaments.

My front tooth is fake from an accident i had.

I was running really fast to recess in elem school and fell on some stairs and bashed my face off the pavement. Needed dental surgery. I will forever have a fake tooth that sticks out past my other ones. :p

About 300 scrapes and sprains. Thanks to skateboarding. Worst was when I was going so fast on a LEVEL and smooth road I started getting speed wobbles. My foot slipped while kicking and hit the wheel and I went flying ( I was going about 15mph). My forhead, knees, right knucles all had road rash along with my left elbow which got a lot of skin taken off (still have a huge scar from it). I got up picked up my board and started yelling f-bombs left and right. What made it better was that It all happened by the fairgrounds where a bunch of marathon bikers were taking a break. I love skateboarding.

EDIT: And surprisingly I have never broken a bone in my body or have had the need for stitches.

Self-Inflicted Injuries NOT EMO, accident ones :p

losing braincells. JUNSU. WHERE ARE YOU? I need to see some of your posts
just to get back on track, here.

This is a bullshit post and doesnt relate to the question in the OP. Stay on topic with an intelligent answer. Is it really that hard?

Yes, out of my leg :( it was the worst pain ever i tell you. Never break your leg, it fucking hurts like crazy. Serious, i reckon i would rather take a hit to the nuts than to break a leg again.

He didn't state if it had to be physical or a mental injury.
I just gave myself a 'self-inflicted' injury by reading the title. So I had to share,
since ...you know... this is what the topic is about? Or was I wrong? :((

^^^ this! for sure. Be very thankful you havent had to experience it. It gets itchy as fucking hell after a while and your muscles tend to lose definition and 'waste away' so to speak. When i got my cast removed off my leg after 8 weeks one leg was skinnier than the other and it freakin stank like mad BO haha

Oh god... I have a lot of these. I'm just a very clumsy person.

I got my tonsils out back in September of 2008. Anyone who has had their tonsils out, knows that the older you are, the worse your recovery is. I was no exception. They had to change my drugs from oxycodone to hydromorphone because I was having such bad nausea issues. Oxy tends to cause me to be loopy enough, but the hydromorphone really made me lack judgment. I was still very nauseated and I was so convinced one night that if I was able to eat real food instead of the liquid diet I was on, my nausea would go away and I would feel so much better.

What does my brain go to? A grilled cheese with bacon, naturally. Stupid, stupid idea, but at least the first bite was yummy. I start feeling this warm gush in my mouth and thought I was about to puke. I run to the bathroom and out comes a crapload of blood. Lots and lots of blood. I panic and rush to my parents' room swallowing blood along the way as to not spill it on the white carpet. I'm standing over their sink gushing blood out of my throat sobbing and begging them to wake up because I think I'm dying, that a grilled cheese sandwich has truly brought the end of my days.

I get driven to the hospital (my dad took it as an excuse to run a couple red lights at 1am) with a towel attached to my face covered in blood. I get into admitting and the nurse says that with my pale skin, dark features, and blood dripping from my mouth, I really did look like a vampire. They stuck a pair of gigantic scissors in mouth and cut out this gigantic ball of flesh hanging from my throat and all done. I seriously almost died from a grilled cheese sandwich. I am still teased to this day by Scott for being such a nubcake.

All because I was high and had the munchies.

Lmao you woulda been freaking out hardcore! I had mine removed when i was 5 due to a bad bout of tonsillitis. Never had any trouble since. Best part about it was the icecream and jelly they gave you after your operation haha (then the worst is when they give you toast to 'toughen your throat back up'. Yeah no worries, just give me some freakin sand paper next time......

I really did. For the first time, I truly thought I was about to die. I didn't know you could have blood shooting from the back of your throat and not at least pass out from blood loss. The human body is surprisingly resilient. I would have LOVED a diet of ice cream, but they actually ban it from consumption because dairy products increase the production of phlegm which of course, causes coughing. I had to go on a completely non-dairy diet consisting of vegetable or chicken noodle soup. I couldn't eat anything that would stay in my stomach for more than a half an hour and it was driving me crazy!

Yeah its amazing how the human body works. You have to have lost around 2 litres (4 units) of blood before your heart goes into cardiac arrest. So unless youre bleeding profusely, then youve got a bit of time haha. But yeah i agree, the shooting blood outta your mouth thing, is freaky. It was the same when i broke my nose, blood everywhere and especially down my throat.
