Of course it's always a risk. Yeah the guides say slower is better. Would a larger MSN list of scores do more harm or good? I'm just curious how they figure out if someone is score sending. Some people seemed to have followed every caution and still have gotten iced for doing stuff I can already do legitimately. It's odd.
Scores sent to fast, getting a high score when they never played before (or going from a really really low score to a very high one with nothing in between), sending an impossible score, leaving the SS on all night (forgetting to shut it off with a very long list or so), or leaving it unattended and having it send review scores and you weren't there to stop it) and sometimes they just slip up. For MSN, if you're going for ranks, YYB is faster and you can play less, but a longer list for MSN will help for ranks (as 600+ more or less can get you to the next rank sometimes) and team points. It depends on how often you'd like to play/SS the other games, and have a ratio for them. For instance, I have played no SOSD, and most of my games are YYB/MSN/SS. I'll probably play SOSD when another bonus for it comes up.
MSN is the quickest game next to SOSD, and a longer list will require more time to go over it and double check everything you're sending. But a longer list, will help in terms of rank and team points for MSN.
