They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no
He's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go
Anyways, she certainly had it coming...

I chuckled when I found out she died of overdose, it's pretty fucking hilarious, especially when her song Rehab had the lyrics:
They tried to make me go to rehab but I said 'no, no, no
He's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go
Anyways, she certainly had it coming...
You are a fucking douche.

You are a fucking douche.
Only sometimes, but she certainly was asking for that to happen...
I mean there is only so much people can sympathize with a person who knew of her problem, yet actively refused to correct it.

To be honest, I don't really feel sorry for her at all. Yeah, a little that she couldn't get help but... meh.

Amy Winehouse didn't write a song about not going to rehab then die from an overdose.
She wrote a song about going to rehab - then went to rehab. She died without any illegal drugs in her system.
I wasn't a fan of her or her music, but I find it incredibly sad that she did try to help herself, but those around her enabled her to feed her addiction to get her on stage and earn some money. And that includes family members. There's nothing fucking laughable about it at all, sorry. Seeing someone used up and killed before 30 in the name of making some green for the music industry is just revolting.

Certainly surprised me there, I thought it was OD for quite a long time. According to wiki it was detox, hmm.

It would have been funny had she actually died of OD after singing her song which was about not going to rehab.
A person dying at such a young age? Yes definitely tragic. A person dying because of exceedingly stupid decisions? Less tragic.
But since she didn't die of OD I take back everything I said earlier, as I was under a very wrong impression.

But how it actually went just wasn't funny. She could've had a long career ahead of her if her handlers weren't so greedy.
