I was looking around the TP and at the moment the Governor Mansion Stamp is going for anywhere from 175k to 2mil. Would it be a good investment to buy up the cheapest ones I can find and hold on to them? The price is fluctuating so much I can't tell if it would be better to wait for a bit until everything settles down or to buy up as many as possible right now.

It's almost certain to inflate over time so it's a fairly safe investment as long as you get them cheap enough.

What would you consider a good price to buy them at? :3

I bought a few yesterday for less than 100k. I wouldn't buy for more than 200k.

If its eventually put into the stamp album, then it'll skyrocket in price soon. But right now, since you can't (or so i've heard), then its hard to tell. If TNT makes an official statement that it is not part of a stamp album, then it'll deflate immediately. Your bet on which will occur.

You can put it in your album. It's currently the only stamp in the Krawk Island stamp album.

It sure to rise, I've invested about 2 mil hoarding them. Could take a while but it's better than the NP just sitting in the bank.

The price will obviously rise, just don't expect it to be a month from now.

Like others have said, it will definitely inflate if it can be put in stamp album. Though I wouldn't buy it for over 190k ^^;;

They'll inflate slowly but they will, since they are retired. It's been a year since the wheels event and that excitement wheel stamp is still bloody 650k (got them for 750k in the event)

Agreed, they will go up in price but if you want to horde them I'd suggest keeping an eye on the AH, saw one the other day for only 40k

I've snagged a few from user shops between 50k and 99k.

Got to be careful of those putting it in trade at a certain price to get others to drop to that price. They could be only putting them up to buy others and then jack up price.

I've bought 8 or 9 of them so far for 120-130k each. Right now I think the price is being driven by investors, there are still too many on the market, I think the consumers of the stamp will be waiting and hoping the price is driven down.

Oh shoot, I had forgotten about this item. When it just came out I had searched for it on the trading post or wiz and both turned up empty. I'll probably start stocking up on a few stamps as well.

I've been following closely, for today at least, the price has stabilized at 175-210k. It's difficult to tell since most of the stamps on the market are in groups of ten, Idk how many they sell at higher prices.

Earlier today I was able to snipe a stamp at ~140k at the auctions, put it right back up in the auctions at 200k and it sold with one bidder. Take from that what you will.

So the price has stabilized? I've seen a lot in the auctions below 100k.

I agree, the price is way too inflated right now imo. I'm going to wait until the price starts to dip a bit before buying a few of them.
