i am the same. i drink coffee like a mofo also cola. and i am still way too tired. lol

I drink about 2 sodas a day, and now that I think about it, they kinda have the same effect that you were describing - from one extreme to the other. All of a sudden after an hour, something kicks in and I'm everywhere...

I tried to kick the soda habit and lasted about a month without caffeine... stepped on a scale and realized I gained 5 pounds... So needless to say, I went back to soda and dropped 10 pounds. Effective weight regulator for me!
