They always give away these anti-viruses, they do it at fry's also. (rebate of course)
Why do they do this? The anti-viruses always expire after a year.

Reminds me; I need a new Anti Virus... So there's no way I can get a good one that won't expire in a year? Meh, I guess a year is pretty good

they'll expire in a year but they usually have promotions where you have a rebate and then a second 'upgrade' rebate, meaning if you have it before you're upgrading it to the newest version. with those two rebates most anti virus upgrades end up being free. you should check out frys for those deals

Just use microsoft security essentials if you need any antivirus at all?
