Only my girlfriend and brother know I play. I wouldn't really hide it or lie if someone asked me though.

Everyone who knows me, even in the slightest, knows I play Neopets. I spend an obscene amount of time on there so if you want to be my friend, you're going to have to deal with the fact that I play Neopets, which I don't really see as a big deal anyways.

I get made fun of a lot and I'm sure there are people saying shit behind my back, but I could really care less. Neopets makes me happy, I don't give a fuck, lol.

My boyfriend could really care less that I still play. He'll listen to me talk about Neo-related things and he buys me Neocash and even TGC cards and KQ plushies when he finds them. If he wakes up before I do, he'll collect all of my purple gems.
His friends and brothers, however, give me hell for playing but it's pretty hilarious most of the time. Whatever

It never bothered me to tell people I played neopets. Fuck, if it wasn't for neopets I wouldn't be a freelance web designer. That's where I started learning HTML/CSS back in 2003 (before CSS really existed xD). And even after coming back just these last couple weeks...I told my husband, "HEY. SO I'M ON NEOPETS AGAIN.". He just went, "Lol. I'm glad you're happy."

If someone cares what game you're on, and judge you for it, they probably aren't a very good friend (unless something you're doing is harming yourself/others). So, as Jabberwock said, don't change because of what others think of you. :3

i am open about it, i have friends that play neo too.

i just didnt tell them i wasn't a legit player. They were legit players with around 10m nps. they always thought (and still are) that i was a legit player with around 20-30m np, not so much more =P

I do have some friends that know that i cheat, and when i introduce them to codex, they go crazy and run np generator on like 30 accounts without proxy and get themselves frozen in a week (due to ss, not np generator). Of course, they probably made 10m+ in that short period

Then very suddenly it becomes acceptable, almost borderline "cool"

The truth is i hardly ever sell anything.



Its kinda like those girls who are huge sluts and nobody likes them.
But suddenly they start doing porn and your like... well at least she is getting payed now.

Most of my friends don't know just because the topic never came up, but I wouldn't have a problem telling them if it did. I personally don't think there's anything wrong to still play Neopets, at least it's something I enjoy doing. ^___^
