this is a great idea im not sure why people are saying its a bad one and a programmer shouldnt waste time on it. people, like me for instance, are trying to get pet intelligence up pretty high in order to use certain weapons, for instance. it's a pretty long process to go thru buying each book and reading it. so this would make it so much faster.

I recently tried buying a scroll potion for intelligence, but cliffhanger actually gives a lot more a lot quicker and costs less.
Therion recommended this way, I didn't believe it at first as I used cliffhanger before and did not get that much int, but this time I got around 300 in one night.
If you want to rep me, please rep Therion FIRST here, as it was his idea.

Almost easily possible, if there was a USAB that had the option to only buy one of each item. I created a USAB list that has every buyable book in it, to be used with this GM script. But it's pretty much useless considering soul_stealers AB just buys a bunch of the same book :( probably not meant to be used with a gigantic shopping list :p

True, did this back when we had the program in the Program Manager, got 700 int in 2 nights, + a couple of Xmas paint brushes, nps (due to RE) and Snowballs ;)
So I think this idea for a program wouldn't really be needed, unless you like reading books to your pet and don't care purely about it's IQ

Well, seeing as we no longer have a Cliffhanger Auto Player ... and it comes in handy just for reading the books (be it a collector thing or going for a trophy).

This is an awesome idea. Especially in light of the current lack of a cliffhanger AP. It would definitely save time for pets that have read a lot of books.

this would be useful, but the jellyneo tool is quite helpful as well. :)

automating it would definitely be nice, but I'm not sure if this calls for an entire program as it's a one-time-use thing basically. maybe a script or something?

I like this idea. I miss not having the auto cliffhanger anymore for my pet to get super smart :(
