4/10, although I don't really see how this indicates intelligence at all.

I got 2/10, that shit flashes before my eyes way too fast, I can't even see one number that fast, but I'm generally pretty slow.

It can be used to train memory. This in turn would help with intelligence on being able to recall information that you have seen before.

But only iconic memory [momentary, no longer than a few seconds] is involved in this test...sure, you can improve it, but it doesn't correlate with the encoding of long-term information.

Wow, I can't see all the numbers that fast.. I just seem to focus on a certain area and I can remember those fine Maybe I should move the laptop back a bit.

I think this gives a lot of insight into how an advanced mind works when it's so accustomed to the dangers of the wilderness. Chimps are the intermediaries between wild animals and humans. They can use tools with their hands but their evolutionary branch has sacrificed finesse for muscular power. In this case I think they are capable of understanding concepts such as numbers but when it's coupled with their instinctive abilities to process images faster(for survival purposes) they blow human performance right out of the water.

I still think gorilla's are cooler. Chimps are too human like and always creep me out.

Our teacher did this in our psych class with 10 numbers, and eventually everyone got the hang of it. Its just a learned behavior

I completely agree. I was consistently getting 7, then consistently getting 8. All in all I got 7 a total of five times, 8 a total of four times, and then the last time I took it I got 10/10. It was just a matter of getting my mind used to seeing the numbers. I could only ever recall three or four numbers but my mind organized the rest in a freeze frame moment.

At first I got 7 by just staring at my computer, while trying not to blink, but by the third try, I got used to the speed. Eventually, I just memorized all the numbers, mentally recited them, and clicked. Thanks for the entertainment. That was quite fun
