I changed the admin password to my laptop half asleep I have no idea what it is or why I did it. Anyone know how I can change it without having admin privileges?

I doubt it'll be easy, if not impossible. An Admin password would be kinda pointless if you could just override it without admin rights. It may require you to reformat

There are actually a couple different ways to go about cracking the password but it really depends on what Operating System you are running.

So what OS are you running?

Oh I should of said that in the first post. I am running Vista (bleh). And you don't need admin rights to format? I wouldnt mind starting fresh with this laptop.

Try booting up in Safe Mode. Sometimes there's a blank Admin account that you can use to reset a password.

Didn't work but I had a epiphany right when i went into safe mode. Figures. Thanks for your guys help anyways :3
