I have no major yet.

Deciding between linguistics or philosophy. :/ still.

I have no idea what major I'd need to go to for linguistics. If anything hoping to be a language teacher overseas, or a translator.

Like Cronus, we don't have major/minor thing over here. I'm currently studying translation, I have considered teaching as well, but then I remember I hate being in a room with other people.

For my faculty it's called Major in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies. But it focuses more on the psycholinguistics and stuff, so I'm not sure if I wanna do that much research.
I don't know what I want to do in future though. xD I should really get myself sorted out.

My issue is what do I need to have for teaching outside the US. For us it can be a lot of loops to go through, but I don't know if it's that bad in other areas.

I guess I'm the only idiot doing a double major in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Internal Audit.

Not nearly as much fun as it sounds to be :p

I will complete my AAS in Business Technology in May. This is to be an administrative assistant, but I chose a two-year degree so it'll transfer easier. When I figure out where I'll spend the next few years, I'm planning on continuing down a business/management path.

Please tell me your name "John Brown" is after the revolutionary abolitionist?!

I have a huge amount of respect for him: http://en.wikipedia....n_(abolitionist)

That it is. He's my favorite person in all of History. They have a wing of the Museum near me dedicated to him, and someone just gave a talk about him as well. It was marvelously fantastic.

I touched his writing desk, even though it told me not to Posted Image

Do a BS in MecE and see once you're done that if you want to take an MS in Aerospace? :p MecE will probably give you the fluid mechanics background and everything, and you can probably take aerodynamics courses as electives in your last year if your university gives you lots of options.

I have been working toward my bachelors degree in physics, but I am thinking about changing my major to applied mathematics with a minor in computer science. Then I started wondering - I know a LOT of us are in college, I wonder what everyone's majors are!

So, please indulge me (even if I already know) by posting your major here. If you are still in high school, post what you think you might be going into if you decide to go to college. If you already have a degree, tell me what it's in! :D

BsME, Mathematics & Business minor :p

I would have loved this.

My degree is Computer Science. We don't do major/minor here, but all my electives were in Business Management.
