I loved the books! They are definitely a must-read, however, I actually prefer the show more. I dunno why, but it just has that 'epic' feel about it that makes it a little more lively than the books.

I guess my own imagination feels more epic to me than what I see on tv.

But hey, how about that Bran scene, eh? Man, I got total Twin Peaks vibes when

Jojen's hand was on fire. I have to admit I got a little sad when all Bran could do was watch Jon Snow. But then I got turned on because Jon Snow looked fuckin' hot killing his ex-nights watch brothers. Also, uh... maybe you could have Hordored into Hordor a little earlier? You know. Before they started to violate Meera?

Dany was okay in the first series when she was finding her feet and being pushed about by Viserys but my god am I sick to death of her self-important speeches now. Terrible.

Yeah I'm starting to think I should just wait for it to come out on DVD or whatever so I can just watch all the episodes back to back. Watching it from week to week probably makes it even more boring than it actually is. Then again, when I finished episodes from season 1, I'd HAVE to watch the next episode because I just HAD to see what happened. Watching these episodes I'm like, "I GUESS I'll watch the next one, in case Arya kills someone or Jon takes off his shirt."

Cool, GoT people! I've read the books and I've seen the show. I wait until the season ends to marathon them all in one go. I read the books the same way, sit down for 12 hours and read it. 

 

I do keep up with whats happening in the show though (recaps) so I will be lurking here majorly if you don't mind my presence. Dany is annoying me and more because of her popularity IRL. Who the hell names their child Khaleesi, it's not even a name in the show, it's a title!!! That would be like me naming my kid Doctor Who.
