Totally agree with you Stuck. I am actually very interested in how the whole Prince & Lannister storyline will play out! I was not expecting the Lannister would reach out to the Prince!

Considering how many difficult scenes there have been (oh Joffrey and prostitutes...), I really did find it a bit harrowing, didn't find it necessary. GRRM has said that the whole dynamic of the scene is different (in that they're reunited at that point in the books rather than having weeks together before Joffrey's death) and whilst it was always meant to be a difficult scene, he's sorry if people found it difficult for that reason.

Re your spoiler tag, he has the most grating accent in the entire fucking thing. Cannot deal.

I've not read the books in a while but I have read up to the end of ADWD. I don't recall the Jamie & Cersei 'rape' scene going quite like that, it seemed more two-way albeit rough. It really painted Jamie in a bad light in that episode

My favorite part was how the dad from fuckin' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory teleported to the wall and took the vows of the Night's Watch and became Jon Snow's new best friend. Because I'm sure tons of people are lining up to enlist at the wall on a daily basis. NOT SUSPICIOUS AT ALL.

The Twins and The Eryie are closer to each other than the Dreadfort and the Wall. Now remember, it took Bran 50 years to get to the Wall from Winterfell riding in a wheel barrow pushed by a giant simpleton. It's taking the Hound and Arya 20 years to get the Eryie from the Twins, and they have legs that work! It literally took Charlie Bucket's dad like half an hour to get from the Dreadfort to the Wall, through land that is crawling with wildlings. COME ON. I mean, yeah, Stannis made it to Storm's End from Dragonstone in 20 minutes in season 2, but he has a witch. And a bad ass smuggler.

It's certainly not the best thing on tv, I say that as a fan. It's been placed in the hands of two bumbling morons who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. I'm not even kidding, on Netflix there's a show called "Jim Rash's Writer's Room". I only watched the first 5 minutes of the show featuring the writers for Game of Thrones and it just explained everything ever.

All I can say for it lately is that it looks pretty. I miss Ned Stark.

I loved the books! They are definitely a must-read, however, I actually prefer the show more. I dunno why, but it just has that 'epic' feel about it that makes it a little more lively than the books.
