Yeah, I totally agree. I was really disgusted. I also agree Dany is boring, but I've always thought that.

Considering how many difficult scenes there have been (oh Joffrey and prostitutes...), I really did find it a bit harrowing, didn't find it necessary. GRRM has said that the whole dynamic of the scene is different (in that they're reunited at that point in the books rather than having weeks together before Joffrey's death) and whilst it was always meant to be a difficult scene, he's sorry if people found it difficult for that reason.
Re your spoiler tag, he has the most grating accent in the entire fucking thing. Cannot deal.

It seemed pretty random to me, there had been no prior hints that I can recall that anything like that was about to happen.

I used to love Tyrion but I find him so whiny and mopey these days.

That episode was literally the worst shit I have ever seen.
Ranting and raving in spoiler.
So. I think this show has gotten way off course. I don't think anyone who works there has read the books.

To be fair, Bran needs to rest and and enters Summer every 30 seconds while Arya and the Hound stopped for KFC

I watched from S1-4 in about 2 weeks while @Kat was here. It wasn't fun trying to avoid spoilers for so long
Yeah, I'm watching 2 seasons a week too xD My dad is excited that I finally started watching.
But my friends don't get how I can enjoy it as a girl *sigh* People you don't know what you're missing out on..

It's odd, a lot of my female friends detest the show! IMO it's the best fucking thing on TV.

I don't think it's odd that females might seem to hate a show filled with gratuitous rape and female nudity.
It's certainly not the best thing on tv, I say that as a fan. It's been placed in the hands of two bumbling morons who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. I'm not even kidding, on Netflix there's a show called "Jim Rash's Writer's Room". I only watched the first 5 minutes of the show featuring the writers for Game of Thrones and it just explained everything ever.
All I can say for it lately is that it looks pretty. I miss Ned Stark.
@Liesa ! You have to read the books... you don't know what you're missing.
Sure, I cringe all the time. But I wouldn't discount the whole show.
Lol, that's hilarious! Is that true? I thought that the producers and writers were doing a pretty good job?
I loved the books! They are definitely a must-read, however, I actually prefer the show more. I dunno why, but it just has that 'epic' feel about it that makes it a little more lively than the books.
