Thing is, I don't give a fuck about Bran, Dany or a lot of what's going on at the Wall. So that's about half the show I'm not really caring for any more. Plus, it's not like I don't know what happens. I think part of it is finding a bit tiring that nothing ever surprises me.

 

That's part of the reason why I've avoided reading the books so far (along with laziness), I don't want to get too far with the books that they'll take away the surprise from the series but then I have less incentive to read the books when I've already got this far on the series and already know most of what's going to happen in the books. It's a damn vicious circle I tells ya.

As long as people keep watching it they'll keep making the new series I think. God knows how many books there's going to be by the end, I think I've heard 8 but you never know...

It's meant to be 7 books at the moment (and we've had 5) but his editor was saying maybe an 8th the other day...they don't really have any clue. She hasn't had new pages from him for the 6th since February 2013 or something ridiculous.

Depends on how many people will continue to watch. It'll lose it's major appeal as it's relatively new at the moment, and as the production costs are so high, I can't seem them doing 6 series for 8 books!

This season has been amazing

 

Purple wedding, the adventures of Brienne and Pod, oberyn's appearance as king of sex and love and literature (and my heart), arya and the hound aka my fave murder duo, Lysa-of-house-bat-shit's death, sansa getting all black swan, tyrion's trial, the mountain and the viper's epic fight (rip the chillest don in the seven kingdoms), jorah finally getting out of the friendzone only to join the exile zone instead (although I wish he'd had the bear balls to kiss the khaleesi before hand), the wall gets fucked from both ends, you know nothing jon snow

 

 

 

I'm going to be so depressed after this season's over. The wait for The Winds of Winter compounded with the wait for season 5. I'm going to need a new series to obsess over...

I have not been keeping up with this at all lol. I think the last episode I saw was the one after the purple wedding or the one after that one. I can't remember. I'll have to catch back up once this season is over.
