We can't guarantee the forum will exist forever so it wouldn't be right to offer a permanent subscription option.
$100/$150 for permanent advanced?

I believe neocodex has been around for around 8 years or so. Anyways it was just a suggestion for a permanent subscription cost; if it is ever introduced.

Although, admittedly, that's what used to be said about regular subscriptions anyhow.

We probably wouldn't be here still if we hadn't introduced subscriptions. It was necessary to introduce subscriptions, a permanent subscription option isn't a necessity though so I'd say there's very little chance it would ever be introduced.

We've put this off long enough but I think it's time to add a 10 year sub.
What about Neocodex Gold?

I'd be wary of any site which offers a permanent subscription option particularly if it's a new Neopets forum because they tend to come and go pretty regularly. It seems to me that offers like that are just a way to get the site owners a quick lump of cash.
I thought that too.
I saw a site offering a 'life membership' and (actually this goes with another thread about the fate of neopets) I thought what a silly idea it was

Yeah this is the second time we've had this exact conversation in less than a month... so we should probably make either a reference thread that is locked upon creation or otherwise make a VERY BOLD statement in the FAQ's pertaining to this topic.
