Who's your favorite team/ player?
Who do you think is going to win it all.
What do you think about replay and stuff like that?

Also...just talk baseball in general!

My favorite team is the White Sox. Favorite player is Frank Thomas.
I honestly think Texas will finally win it this year.
I hate replay, I don't care if the umps make mistakes, it happens.

Blue Jays, they're the only team based in Canada.

Braves fan through and through. I watch/listen to every game.

Andrelton Simmons for ROTY (Screw Bryce Harper).
Craig Kimbrel is the best closer in the majors.
Chipper Jones is my all time favorite player ever, sad to see him go, but it's his time.
I hate Fredi Gonzalez. Awful manager.
Josh Hamilton grew up 30 minutes from where I live, and is easily my favorite stand out player. Pujols is up there though.

I don't think I'd mind replay for the playoffs, but as far as seasonal games go, I think it would slow the pace down too much. It sucks the Umps miss calls, but shit happens.

How do you feel about Youk being a Whitey now? Think you guys got the best from that trade?

It will end up being the best trade out of any of them this year. We got rid of lillibridge (good utility player, but not THAT good) and got rid of Zach Stewart (dude sucks). We picked up another power hitter (go figure, White Sox with another power hitter) BUT a power hitter that can hit for average...kind of like a down graded Konerko. It's a sick line up... 1. De Aza (fast and bats .290-.300) 2. Youk 3. Dunn 4. Konerko 5. Rios. 6. Viciedo 7. Pierzynski. Picking up Youk was HUGE.

Nice. The Braves were looking at him pretty hard. I'm kind of glad we let him slide though.

You watching the Sox game right now? It's on WGN...Will Ohman makes me want to shoot myself. Also, Jones didn't retire yet right? He's just on the DL.....again?

He's not even on the DL right now. He went 3-4 with a run and a walk yesterday. He's retiring at the end of this year though.

I'm at work so I'm not watching any games. I can listen to them because I bought the MLB Radio thing. I usually only listen to NLEast games though.

Oh wow....man I used to pay a lot more attention to baseball. School is just killing me, I thought Chipper was still on the DL from his stint earlier in the year lol. Oh well. I'll talk to you some more later about baseball, time to head to work!

Yeah, he got dinged in the ankle by a line shot during a series @Tampa Bay, missed about 5 days on the day-to-day, then they put him on the 15day to bring Jose Constanza(speedy outfielder) to hit in the 9 hole, and we moved the pitcher to 8th. It worked out fairly well, but when Chipper came back we shifted back to how it was.

Beachy being done for the year is tough for us. We really need JJ to pitch like he did last year at the beginning of the season. He was spectacular against the Red Sox last week, but it could just be a lucky game. He was awful at the start of this year.

I just looked at all the scores...Cubs got SMOKED. This is hilarious.

Don't get me wrong, Jones is a first ballot hall of famer, but the guy literally is a glass cannon. If he stayed healthy his whole career he might honestly be in the top 3 of home runs. For the past few years he's done more damage to the Braves than actually helping them.

He's 3rd all time in RBI's for switch hitters. 5 Away from 2nd, 7 away from 1st, so he'll pass both of those relatively soon. Cracked a two run homer tonight.

Fredi just switched our line up because Heyward's been on a tear lately. He moved from hitting 7th to 2nd, and is on a 12 game hitting streak now.

I need the Nats to start losing some because I'd rather win the NLE out right then have to suffer through another wild card race, only to get let down at the end of the season again.

SFGiants took over the NLW lead today. Dodgers are struggling.

I just don't see the Nats keeping it up all year long...the Dodgers were overachieving right out the gate.

So if the pitcher blerns the opposing team gets three blerns, but if they blern their blern then they blern out? I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Exactly. See, not so hard now, is it?

Did you see my White Sox trollolololol the Yankees yesterday? White Sox said, "Eh, we'll try in the top of the 9th."

Haha, no. Braves really need to win this series against the Nats. Can't afford to be more than 2.5 back right now.

Atlanta just seems like they can't get that much offense going. The White Sox dominated the Yankees today.
