With the addition of the new useless "Community" page, I can't help but think that neo should have updated something worth updating. I feel like they've updated the dumbest things such as the wheels and stuff while low-fi things like Dice a Roo, Slots, and Gormball sit there.

What do you think should be updated?

The glitches, definitely the glitches. (KQ ones for instance, habi lookouts..ect.) They're everywhere, and TNT spends their time creating "community" pages and things that are completely useless. That and Tarla's toolbar, it's no longer downloadable (as the download page is gone) and it wouldn't take that much work to update it so it could run on newer computers and macs.

Oh, I suppose the battledome perhaps?

The Battledome. The thing is, the whole battledome would be COMPLETELY different. I'm pretty sure no one from the old TNT staff that made the BD isn't there anymore. The new TNT staff has no idea how to code the old battledome so they'd just make their own new battledome, which would most likely 100% include NC Mall shit.

Or, the stock market (drop the 1000 count limit).

NQIII would be nice too, or they could change their minds about fixing Invasion of Meridell.

^Those are the type of games I like playing. None of this flash crap... If I want a game to paly for fun (let's face it, we don't play for the 2k np you can earn), they're competing with XBox360, PS3, and World of Warcraft. It's a losing strategy.

Additionally, they could start answering intelligent questions in the Neopian Times Editorial. None of this *throws random object* ish they've been doing the past couple years. Anyone remember when they legit answered questions? Not just cherry picked the ones that suit their interests? It's obvious.

I know I use to play neopets a long time ago, but after I started runescape they had a hack called anti-ban maybe in neopets called anti-frozen hacks that cant get u banned. create a random algorithm that even TNT cant detect. thats what I would like to see updated.

Definitely updated rules A new player is hardly gonna know that rules and questions about them etc are just in the Editorial now, rather than being shown on the rules page... Not to mention that new fansites section of the community tab thing, is it going to be ok to talk about the fansite's articles on the boards or are we going to get reported for OMG YOU TALKED ABOUT SOMEWHERE XD WHICH ISN'T XD NEOPETS XD REPORTED??

I agree, the auction house and trading post really need to be updated! Maybe the forums as well~ Hasn't that just been the same since the layout update in 2007? And yeah, a BD update would be nice and all, but knowing how TNT is now and their coding.... I could just see it being a huge, glitchy Flash train wreck that doesn't even work x3

If they made the battledome so that people who paid money had more of an advantage than people who have worked hard to train their neopets that would be seriously dickish. But I agree the battledome needs a makeover.

New pets?

Iirc the only reason why they don't want to make new pets is because "baaaww redrawing all the clothing and other wearables!!!!" which... is a really poor excuse to be honest! I'm sure they could find a team of people who would be willing to edit items so the new pet could wear them, or just make the pet like an UC/Maraquan/Baby pet and just do that while they work on making pre-existing items work for it (if at all) or something.

The battledome is fine the way it is... The only thing bad about it is the aesthetics. The strategies have been altered with some frequency with the release of new weapons. It's not like the strategy is everyone uses SoS/GSword like it was several years ago. Now you have SoSs icons for every icon. IMO battledome just needs more 1p challenges and better leaderboards for most points/wins/ratio.

The actual auction house system could use some tweaks. Modify the ending algorithm a bit and increase the max bid and starting price. Same for trades, remove 800k limit and make it unlimited. They could easily just add flags for XXX,XXX,XXX NP to prevent IRL trading with pure. They have flags on items, might as well add pure.

Don't bother with flash games anymore. Release NQIII and a plot that involves BD, NC, and games (possibly NQIII?) That way you can release NC items, have 1p fighting, and games. Release avatars in the plot and everyone will be satisfied. Well, you'll still have the people who moan about NC being involved, but whatever.
