I only want to shop in very specific shops. I added those shops to my list but, I cannot click the box next to 'Visit only specified shops'

You need to be advanced to have that option. You can select one shop at a time shop using a manual list for that shop.

To visit specific shops as a non-advanced member you need to make shop lists for each shop,seperatly, not all shops in one list. I've made some in the past I don't know if they're still up to date

Pretty much what the top post says. You can make your lists, but for the most part you do need to be advanced to shop and choose a certain place to ab at.
