The hard drive is the easiest part to install, a couple tutorials and you should be able to install it easily, why do you just assume it's impossible if you haven't even tried it yet?

When I tried to hook up one I ended up with a bunch of cuts. At least when I hooked up those wires.

Technology is allways going to progress to supply the consumer with the game play advances they expect when they purchase new games. As most people have stated, hard drives are getting cheaper and cheaper.

I think if they didnt end up making games 20gb or more in size, we would all end up complaining that we expected more from the developers, so, catch-22?

Generally, you can unscrew the drive bays to give yourself easier access to the ports on the back of the drives. Do you not own a screwdriver?

It depends right? Some games use high resolution textures that make it look nicer than the console equivalents. other times it's poor compresion. i shouldnt be listening to in game audio in flac at least by default

speaking of which installer processes really annoy me. one of the things diablo 3 did really right was allowing you to play while waiting for the download to complete

Nope, as time goes on, games get bigger, but so do HDs. 100gb used to cost as much as 1tb does now...

this is actually part of the reason people pirate games: scrubbed files, compressed video, stripped languages
