Ugh I regret updating. Maps sucks, and my iPad battery drains about 5x as quick, maybe more. And since I have an iPad 2, I don't even get freaking Siri. WHY APPLE WHY.

If you want a simple software upgrade, you'll have to purchase a whole new product ;)

I don't mind the new maps app at all.. but ever since I updated my phone has been freezing and generally really laggy, and the battery seems to die a lot faster.. so hopefully they fix that up soon

I haven't updated my ipad, because the jailbreak thing hasn't come out yet. Never knew there were so many negative comments about it :o

I haven't updated my 4 because I want to keep it jailbroken because someone wants to buy it, and since i'm switching to att to get the 5, ofc it's going to have iOS6 on it... but i'm not afraid about the maps since I live in the middle of miami... besides, new opinions about the maps are popping up http://www.loopinsig...uy-an-iphone-5/ and i've been seeing more and more studies saying the same, and if not, maps.google.com. Apple just made a shitty decision in rushing Maps and using tomtom's database or whatever it was they did. Apparently they've been correcting locations and such in maps. An android guy on my fb said google maps started the same so in time Apple's will improve.

Apple is horribleeeeeeeeeeeee though, about getting their products out into the hands of their customers... it's the first time i'll be on a big carrier and not on an mvno and i've been waiting for two weeks now for them to restock. They should know by now "we're going to have millions sold in like 3 seconds, we should make enough before we even talk about selling them because we're going to have all the white girls mad they can't get their phones now"

So I ended up ditching my Galaxy Nexus and bought an iPhone 5 a few days ago.... The one thing that I hate about iOS6 (and maybe this is just an isolated problem...) is that I can no longer tap into the middle of a word to correct my spelling mistake. I have to tap several times and I can only get the cursor at the end of the word. It drives me mad!!!

Of course there are a few other things that I could do with my rooted and rommed Gnex that I can't do with my iPhone, but I am overall rather satisfied with the new phone. (Another prime annoyance is that my Gnex could automatically start playing music when I connected something to the headphone jack.... now I have to go in and manually press play. I know that this is so trivial that it is honestly inconsequential... but it is a feature that I miss. =/)

I swear that I used to be able to just tap in the middle of a word with precision and it would take me exactly where I needed to go!

    Thanks for the #protip anyways!
