Sorry I didn't feel like writing that much?
Edit: Are plants inanimate objects? o__O?
I can't stop imagining the mansion.

MehAnd yet, you didn't write anything on the topic, giving the lie to your excuse.
No, but it was too cool an idea to exclude. Imagine I mean dead trees, if it helps.

If re-animating once living objects is considered to be part of the power then....I'm finding me some frozen mammoths.

That's the most imagination you've exhibited in weeks.

I'd like to be able to summon animals to do household chores, like Snow White.

Off the bat?
You could bring pencils to life to do your homework. You could bring cars to life to drive people around, or reenact the Cars movies. You could bring dolls to life and terrorise the local playground. You could bring kitchen appliances to life like in Transformers 2. You could bring a lamp to life and laugh every time it falls over at the end of its cord. You could bring books to life and they could fly around by flapping their covers. You could bring your kitchen contents to life and sing Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. You could create a race of candy people. You could create an army of snowmen and march them into somewhere warm. You could bring other boardgames to life. You could create cool fighting robots a la Angelic Layer. You could bring your bed to life so it would rock you to sleep. You could bring trees to life and have them grow together into an awesome organic tree-mansion.
You must measure "tons" very differently to me.

Without the mental capacity to compute the effects of your actions, the moral and ethical considerations of time-travel are insurmountable. It's a terrible power.

I am sure I am not the only one who wished they could travel back in time to change something or just to go on a vacation in a different era.
Posted 01 January 2013 - 01:36 AM
No, of course not. But most people realise that it'd be hella dumb.

Don't forget the Brave Little Toaster. He will FIND YOU.

An interesting power I heard someone say that they wish they had today was the power to erupt volcanoes. Who the hell wants power that destructive?
Posted 02 January 2013 - 11:39 AM
Not me. Volcanoes are limited depending where you are. If would suck if you wanted to erupt volcanoes in West Virginia, USA. I want something more destructive like making earthquakes. If done right, you can make volcanoes erupt AND cause tidal waves.

The ability to create and manipulate fault lines and tectonic plates.
I'd freaking take over the word.
Posted 02 January 2013 - 12:29 PM
Sorry for the typo ^ ^;;Chances are you'd destroy the "word". You'd have to be pretty smart to be able to use that power to achieve anything other than random destruction.

Wasn't there some kind of earthquake machine a couple decades ago?
Posted 02 January 2013 - 06:35 PM
There still is. Fracking.
