Pokemon was my first game ever and I've spent hundreds of hours on these games. xD I have a lot of emotional attachment to this game series even if the new Pokemon are hideous ;w; You can probably guess my favorite Pokemon from my avatar

 

So Mr. Mime isn't hideous, and Minccino/Deerling/Emolga are? (inb4 someone posts ice cream and trash)

All of the games have their share of nicely designed Pokemon and ones which are terrible~

The way i see the whole starter pokemon ting is: Sweet! I can have a pokemon with the power of fire! or the power of water! or... grass? wtf kind of power does grass have?

What edge does bulbasaur have over Squirtle and Charmander?

PoisonPowder, Stun spore and Sleep Powder.

 

Also the ability to sleep and then spam Growth until you're pretty much a freaking sweeper to anything that doesn't resist both poison type moves and grass.

Can you believe that? They actually have an easy mode catered to casuals now because some people cried about the games being too hard and unable to complete certain levels

You're joking.... I bet next you're going to tell me they ruined the challenge in Zelda by adding difficulty levels to that right? What kind of society do we live in?

As for the grass type, razor leaf was always one of my favorite moves. I think mainly because it sounded cool.

The old Pokemon's were lame when you compare them in hindsight. I bought a DS last year with Pokemon Soul Silver I think and it amazed me about how much better it was than the original. I still have Pokemon white sitting in it's box and I'm thinking about digging it out and seeing what all the fuss is.

 

Don't like all the new Pokemon though, seem kinda gash.

I recently spent a bunch of best buy gift cards from extended family. (seriously, who still shops at best buy?)

I bought SoulSilver and White 2. Currently working my way through Silver for nostalgia purposes Haven't beaten a gym yet but I chose Cyndaquil. I really like the layout of the menus in SS.

I'm still playing Ruby, but I've gotten to a point where I need to train like 5 levels on my entire party to go forward and I'm being lazy at the moment

Also, I love that you can tap the running shoes to run everywhere. That's the best feature since allowing the option to switch pokemon when your opponent's pokemon faints.

lmao when you beat the E4 in White 2 you unlock "easy mode", you can get "hard mode" from interacting with a Black 2 copy with it unlocked

I don't really see the point in easy mode post-E4 though hahahh
