I'm going to make a suggestion for those who insist on continuing this debate.
There is a General Debate forum for this stuff, why don't you scoot on over there and create a thread?
"Could you have a partner with differing beliefs than yours? Why or why not"
Go.
Edit: That way you can argue all you want without derailing another thread that has no relevance to the subject

You're staring romantically at each other, but then you focus on his eyes and just see two big circular...Yeah.

For me, he had to have a job, be able to laugh, and have a good attitude. The fact that he had his own vehicle, own house, big blue eyes, was a big plus. And honesty is a BIG PLUS.

Crap, all I had to do is say I had religious urges to procreate and I could have been squirting out babies this whole time? I've been doing it wrong. If seraph can't be with someone who believes in Bigfoot, that's their business. I would never be able to be with a devout Christian either, because our religion teaches us that women's only purpose is to make babies and serve man, and some guys really take that to heart. I love Jesus and everything but FUCK THAT SHIT. I don't need to tolerate that shit.
It would bother me if I was dating someone who was Pro-Life. That would make getting an abortion really awkward.
I forgot about this. Pro-life bothers me, as much as I love babies and being pregnant, and I wouldn't be able to refrain from constantly trying to convince them they're wrong. I'm also anti sandals with socks and I realized today I don't like guys who don't like obviously
simple compromises.

Deal Makers:
- Will give me my own space, not be clingy
- Music lover
- Have a personality, i don't like talking to brick walls
- Funky ass hair
and that's pretty much that
Deal Breaker:
- Plain
- Boring as fuck
- Clingy
- Posh, i don't do posh. Plus a girl who thinks they're so much classier than everyone. I'd take a hood gyal over a posh bitch anyday.
I don't give a fuck if she's a druggie, smokes, etc. As long as she ain't a chick version of Random basically, i can't do higher society business wankers, fancy dinners, going to events and shit. I love girls with funky ass hair and I usually go for the abnormal chicks like these

I understand that, but not all Theists try to take it upon themselves to save non-believers.
So I guess my point remains that they are not all the same or have the exact same behaviors and beliefs.
My husband is a Christian (not devout, but the original comment specified any religious person), but he's never harped on me for being an Atheist or told me I'm damned, nothing even close. If he believes I am, that doesn't bother me, because I know I'm not and he's entitled to believe whatever his heart wishes.
My ex boyfriend was Catholic. All that pent up guilt led to a lot of amazingly kinky sex.

Another breaker: people who apologize over and over and don't stop the thing they apologize for.
Sorry.

Musts:
- video games
- READING
- knows more about technology than I do
- tall
- older
- good grammar/vocabulary
- chivalrous
- the car. Or at least a nice bicycle.
- people skills/able to communicate
Must Nots:
- any tobacco use.
- excessive weed smoking and "stoner lifestyle/personality". It was fun to be around when I was 16, it's just annoying now
Would be nice:
- aware of what's fashionable
- lives alone
- has a dog
I'm sure I could nitpick more but the main points are there. Most of the guys I get especially attracted to dress very plainly and are nerds. But I'm alright with that.

Whaaat??
well the feeling i get from people like that is that those people don't treat you much differently than they treat anyone else
e.g. if some other girl constantly wants to hang out with him and i know she likes him + he knows she likes him though he doesn't return her feelings, but he goes to hang out with her on the basis of keeping their friendship or just to be nice to her, that would not be ok
dunno if that makes sense but ya

Definitely not a Taylor Swift song. You have to be together before she can write a song about you.
