I smoked weed all throughout high school and was 5th in my class. Our valedictorian smoked weed and did coke all the time. She then finished her bachelors a year early along with her masters. Drugs shouldn't interfere with schoolwork as long as you prioritize and are smart about it.

I've never used drugs, but I wouldn't recommend doing drugs during/before class. If you got caught, you could be expelled. It's safe to just do it at home.

Anyway I admit I haven't read all of the previous posts. Using drugs won't interfere with schoolwork as long as you are responsible. You take more risk by using "harder" drugs.

I think weed acts more of like an anti-depressant stress reliever. Plus it's considerably cheaper than going out

Me and my friends would snort ritalin, cocaine, and oxy in the school bathroom. Tripping on acid was so fun during school. Yeah it affected schoolwork.. I just wanted to draw and talk to everyone.

I took Adderall quite a few times during college, it wasn't really a big thing when I was in high school. Most people just smoked weed. I think i was pretty responsible when it came to prescription drugs, I only took it when I really needed it and didn't get addicted. I only smoke weed when I don't have anything to do, because I know I'm just going to laze around. It's all about knowing your limits and what you are/are not going to do.

I had a bad experience with drinking heavily the first time so I haven't really tried it much since.  But pot is a nice way to relax on the weekends and chill with friends.  Shrooms are reserved for the summer, so I won't be doing those again for a while.  Oh yeah!  I tried my brother's Ritalin prescription of 25mg once before a term paper was due and I finished half of it in three hours.  But not really a party drug, more of a get your work finished before you're screwed.  You're fine if you're responsible to an extent.

It`s not very smart to use drugs. If I used drugs I dont think that I would function as good as I do now

I do it occasionally but doesn't affect my school work back when I was in high school. I don't do when I have school however because that is just dangerous 0_0..

I'm pretty sure doing drugs won't affect your schoolwork unless you purposely use them as a method to procrastinate / get so addicted that you no longer have any time left for schoolwork.

this isn't speaking from personal experience though, I've never done drugs 'cause I have a bit of an addictive personality.
