Hey guys/gals,

Returning member here, I've not been to the boards for a looooooooong long time, actually, this would probably be the first time I have logged in since the boards got reset way back when so I don't expect anyone to remember me! Decided to pick up on neopets again seeing as how I have time on my hands once more and figured I would say hey, hi, hello (:

Doesn't seem to have changed much, except that I'm getting rs banned a lot quicker than I used to. My stock portfolio is looking at little worse for wear, I think when I stopped playing it was up to 2-3m profit, now it is down to 900k (ouch). I'm contemplating whether to buy some NP just to get back into the swing of things, or just RS slow and steady to build up a bank roll.

Any new or interesting things to check out in the last 5 or so years?

Seems most of my NF's that I made on this board have been frozen when I checked my list out, so if anyone wants a new NF feel free to hit me up (:

Welcome back, though i didnt know you before haha. But yeah, I kinda felt the same after returning to neo from a long hiatus, i was like: "there are other elemental swords on par with SoS in the HT now?". Was also surprised at how much the NC mall had grown (as in how much was out there for customization, if you like to customize your pet and dont mind spending a few bucks, or more, check out JNs wardrobe for customizaton previews). If you already have a well established account, id probably just rs or do whatever you do to get neopeoints. Though im in the same boat so to speak in wanting to buy some as my new account is pretty helpless right now, could use a nice jumpstart, and i dont mind using my spacebucks to initiate that. They may just be pixels, but money is also just paper (and other shit), its the value we assign to it that makes it worth something, so spend your money on what you want.

Drak, I am totally enjoying my pity welcomes...thanks :D

@Raine I have to admit when I came back I barely recognised anything. Before I quit I wasn't huge on rsing or bd, I made a few quid using Abrosia but the profit wasn't anywhere near what it is today. Truth be told I think I spent more time making graphics for my back then guild than I did anything else, so much so that I only just realised a couple of days ago that my main pets page was still full of them and the guild is no longer active!

Put it this way, the last time I played..a red scorchstone was considered a decent bd item :D

lol well then that is awhile ago. Thats cool that you make graphics though, ive always wanted to be able to make my own lookup among other things but am not very good at drawing outside of pencil/paper and am terrible with HTML. Perhaps one day ill get better. How did you become good at what you do (graphics): independant research, classes, tinkering with programs?

Basically, I started playing with paintshop pro when I was a kid, then moved up to photoshop and have never looked back. Had a keyboard attached to my hand since I was 7, am now 35..so..a lot of time to play :D
