Since it appears that TNT's databases only keep track of purchases over 1000 np, would it be relatively safe to transfer large amounts of NP through buying 1np items at 999np?

Please poke holes in this theory, I'd much rather have it nixed in the idea stage than iced afterward :p

    It sounds really time consuming.

If you want to put 600000000 items in your shop for 999 NP.

lets say you are selling 20 mil

you would need 20020 1np items, you would have to deposit 50 items 400 times.

I would say that's more suspicious than just gifting a 20 mil item

Well, what if the 20m, as per your example, was broken down over a few weeks. Say 5m a week.

I'm wondering if TNT would bother checking up on such small transactions; nevermidnd how much of a pain in the butt it would be to move it.

In my mind, it would be worth the efforts if it means I didn't have to worry at all about getting caught.

Lol Jermey... it wouldn't because then it would buy everyone else's items too. Although I'm still hoping for a USAB at some point.. valuoious said he'd be working on one at some point (in his thread). But it's like, what's the point of transferring NP if it will eventually get you iced on both accounts? I'm just trying to do things the smart way, even if it takes a bit more effort.

It's a pretty interesting concept, but if TNT does check however... Both accounts are 99.9% iced.

There is also an amount of items that gets your account flagged as well...

It would look way more suspicious buying 3904829432647823463263 trash items from the same shop ahahahaha !

Just be your own friend with a clean account.. make your own middleman! That's what I did.

It's kind of hard for a previously empty shell that suddenly becomes friends with another random empty shell while gifting it millions in items to come across as legit isn't it  :(

That's not what I mean... Make a legitimate account that you do some things one occasionally, get it up in age, and keep it completely clean.

That is what I did, and I have been gifting crazy items to my main safely...  message back and fourth occasionally.. blah blah blah...

Worst case scenario, the shell and the middleman account get iced... it's a bit of work, but it works

This is the only thing I could really think of working for large amounts of NP. I know of a lot of people who gift very expensive items (NC as well) to their friends because it was listed on their wishlist or whatever else. If you have the patience to age up a legitimate looking account to act as a go-between for your shells and your main, this is definitely the way to go. Bonus points if you have forum or guild presence chatting with your new best friend.

That sounds like way too much work and a lot of risk. The more activity=the more attention.

I miss the old days when we would just put up "donation" trades.
