Is it allowed to buy nps with $ on neocodex?

You need to have been here at least a week, and have 10 non-spam posts before you can see our trading section, which has people selling NP. So yes, it is allowed here to buy NP.

 

Why is this in general debate though?

Why was this in general debate? Moved. Also, you cannot mention buying for $ on the boards if you're looking to trade for Neopets' intellectual property.

We don't mention real money on the forum, which is why people post on the TP for "Other". It can be anything, like cookies, just not a form of real money.

 

I think the conversion rate to other is 1:2. (someone correct me if I'm wrong). So 2 others per mil.

 

However, you need 10 posts and have been registered for a week before you have access to the TP here.

That link tells you, but as you don't have access to the TP section yet, it won't be of any assistance. (Conversion rate is ~1.7-2 per mill currently).
