Crafting Talent Contest!!

Do you have a creative talent you'd like to show Neocodex? Well now's your chance! 

A craft can be anything from knitting, origami, decorative baking, to perler creations.

 

Here's an example of what I do:

 

 

 

 

Starts: Today

Entries Due: 6:00 PM NST Sunday, December 15th

Voting Ends: 6:00 PM NST Friday, December 20th

 

 

RULES!

1) An entry should be what YOU yourself have created, not what your friend/family member/coworker made.

2) Submit a quality photo to me of an example of your work, this photo will be used in a poll for the community to vote for their favorite.

3) Along with your picture, you may submit a couple of sentences detailing what particular craft you do and any pertinent information on your picture.

4) Please refrain from editing or filtering the photos or overlaying any text. Photos should also be around 500x500, but there's no strict limit.

5) Entries that do not comply with these rules or the contest parameters will be denied.

 

F.A.Q.!

 

Q: What counts as a "craft"?

A: There are so many crafts out there, so I will try to not be too picky when it comes to this contest because I want to see all our creative people submit something! 

If you're really not sure about your submission, please feel free to PM and ask me!

 

Q: Can it be digital?

A: No, physical crafts only please.

 

Q: How will the poll work?

A: It will be a public poll when the voting process begins. Everyone will have one vote.

 

Q: Does our entry have to be Neopets related?

A: Nope! Just keep it age-appropriate

As long as it's a physical model, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Remember people are going to be voting on ingenuity and aesthetics. I'd imagine some architecture models would look awesome, that'd be a great entry.

Nice idea for a contest Kat! Looking forward to something a little different with this one I'm sure there are plenty of people here who do crafty things. We (Neocodex) may look at donating a prize to the competition as well, just have to talk it over with the others.

Ouu that thing you made is cool, Kat. I made some stuff out of those once too. A heart and a rainbow lol. Not quite as advanced as yours. 

 

Thanks!   It's tedious but it can be very relaxing to do. I've made others but I'd rather make a different thread to show off, haha.
