This is a guide TNT use to flag players who uses AB programs.

TNT
uses a 2 step process. First, they identify potential cheaters (they do this for all types of cheating). This is done through a point system that gives points for suspicious activity such as using a known proxy, changes in email address (more changes = more points), changes in IP addresses (between Regional Internet Registries), non-participation in certain events/dailies, etc. (As you might guess, Premium has a higher point requirement). People who reach a certain threshold of suspicious activity points are put into the "Hypertracking" database and then TNT runs all its programs against these users. The AB detection program uses a similar point system that includes speed, not loading pictures, type of account (amount of NPs and size of shop), how quickly items are transferred out of the account, refresh rates, number of purchases, time of purchases related to your country of origin, etc. They always run this in Magic and it also rotates among the other shops (I think they run it in 4 shops max at a time but always in Magic). If you collect enough points in any given month -- frozen. But your points are cleared every month. That is why you will see more users frozen near the end of a month than the beginning.

How much of this is concrete? What is your source for the info?

    Source?

While plausible, I've seen plenty of people speculating on the procedure.

The part about images not being loaded seems unlikely, they would just be stored in your browser cache and not requested multiple times anyway.

No need to attack the poor guy. His intentions were good no matter how credible the source may or may not be.

Clarification. I was attacking Yahoo answers and the guy who posted this on there in the first place.

Didn't mean to offend anyone here.

    Sincerest apologies.

EDIT: I always enjoy people speculating on TNT's freezing policy.

    Easy. Report happy users.

"I didn't get that item!" *reports person who got the UB for ABing*

"that score seems to high!" *reports for SSing*

"They rejected my offer! I'm offended! *reports for harassment*

Really, even in Charter? I thought the people in there were nicer (not that I've ever been there though).

However the explanation provided by OP does make some sense, and even if they don't use that exact 'formula', I can see how it would work. I'm not too sure about points being cleared every month though...

Charter is like Mean Girls. I knew how this would be settled in the animal world. But this was Charter World. And in Charter World, all the fighting had to be sneaky.

It's possible (probable) that they do check for javascript/flash being enabled but yeah, I don't think they'd be able to reliably check for images not loading.

If you were TNT, and you wanted to keep ABer's away, how would you go about doing so efficiently?
