More than likely this person is referring to the Autosave function in the IP.Board.
A minute or so after you start typing you'll notice the autosave at the bottom left hand side. You should be able to retrieve that at any point in time to finish your post but it rarely works correctly.

No, I was trying to edit a post and it wouldn't go through, but everything seems to be working now

Are you connecting from your phone or is your internet connection otherwise somewhat laggy?

No phone, not sure what it was, but it doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
