I was going to ask about this. Obviously there are some stats buried in the server for these items. It'd be nice if users could see at least basic stats on equipment. Not so important when there's only one weapon, but when there are options... well, you've got to decide somehow

They do deal more damage, aye. Not set on how much, yet, and not sure how to inform the user.
They will also be limited in their stats, so you won't be able to equip them unless you meet the requirements. That's not implemented so far, though.

Iron Ore is a gathering item, so that doesn't technically exist yet. Battered Armor comes from Pit-specific enemies and a few others

Ok cool, I got up to 14 in the Pit and the Blind Gudgeon got me he deals some heavy damage.

edit: oh wait, it still counts towards a high score? I'm just mad I didn't get all my loot! 5 steaks down the drain.

Hahaha. I suck at every game, so I'm always relieved when there are at least a few people who did significantly worse than me, even if it means they tried once with minimal effort and gave up.

I leveled up on my 5th battle in the pit, and after choosing my stat increase I moved immediately into a battle with a pit beginner (even though I was doing rigged). After defeating the beginner, it said I was on a streak of 6. When I then left the pit, I didn't get a streak steak.

 

I hope that makes sense.

That's because you didn't see the pit master when you were at a 5-streak. I'll look into how I can make that impossible
