Try the scorched forest or training fields?

After loads of battles, I now have 35 sand dollars and still no chests. I'm gonna go back to the Forgotten Cave and just keep trying to level up. From what I've seen on the forums, people have had really good luck in Waterway and Arena so hopefully I can get there soonish! 

 

Thanks Strat for suggesting training fields, that's where I ended up getting most of my sand dollars

Maybe I should switch to training. I've been in Waterway most of the time coli's actually worked and only have 3 sand dollars and no chests.

I've been in the waterway the majority of the time and I've gotten over 70 sand dollards and no chests.

Yeah you might have better luck in training grounds, especially for collecting sand dollars! I did find a few in scorched forest too but definitely more in training grounds! Good luck

 

@Rocket, so many sand dollars 0_o what are you gonna buy with them?

no clue, oh god if they do, i really need to step up my sand dollar hunting!!

I've just been grinding in waterway and switched to the arena to help level up.

 

Level 20 now! woohoo

I don't think the armbands will have much demand, and the symbols will be there every year.

Every time I battle, right as the final kill should have happened I get a lag or hiccup.

That's been happening to me a bunch too. Can't help but wonder if those wins could have had a chest

yay! Congrats on 1000 posts Emily Its surprising that I'm getting up there in post count too, can't believe I'm already above 800 (well, already consider I was ridiculous inactive for a while b/c of school and all) 

 

And to stay on topic: I FINALLY got my first chest, I was so excited that I went an opened it right away and of course it was the one for coatl males only (of which I have zero)

 

Also, Holy batman ambush is awesome! I bought 2 since that was all I had funds for currently and now I'm having a MUCH easier time in bamboo falls where before I had to restart after every battle.

dayyum, 35 sand dollars already? you must battled a lot. are you planning to use those sand dollars? and will the festive favors restock with new items everyday?

I actually got closer to 75 now, been battling all day. I used some of it on the familiar in the shop, hopefully saving up more sand dollars to hoard some of the other goodies! I'm at level 14 now, so I've been battling a lot in the forgotten cave and bamboo falls. I got a TON of sand dollars from the training grounds too. What level are your dragons? 

 

Also, according to Sweeney, the festive favors will not restock new items, it will be the same 4 all week. so you have some time to save up those sand dollars!!
