[Echonomics]

My very first time on neopets was pretty funny.

 

I abused the advent calendar? glitch and I would just keep refreshing.

 

I told myself I would stop, but would always come back for more.

I would just refresh and every refresh would give like 1K

I then went on to make an account and never cheat again lol

 

and then when I finally stopped giving a shit about the millions that I worked for legitly

I was on tumblr once and someone was like "hey y'all I don't want my account anymore here's my password you can have what u want" and I was dumb and was like "ok those np are mine" and got them and that's how I got my main frozen ):

I remember the advent glitch.

 

There have been a few glitches out there worked out well back in the day when I cheated. i.e. duping glitch.

By chance, I played Extreme Herder and got the avvie when the game had the glitch where the entrances didn't disappear on the harder levels. I heard of some people getting frozen from it but nothing happened to me. That's the only glitch I've ever accidentally taken advantage of

I wanted the ace zafara avatar and I messed up cheating so badly that I got number 1 on the high scores (by a LOT...) and was chain iced and then made a fuss about how unfair it was   made a petition and everything.

 

also this isn't me cheating but when I was like 8 someone got on my account and told me they'd drop all my pets in the pound if i didn't give them a credit card number. I begged my mom to give the dude her card so i could keep my pets LOL.

I dont have any exciting stories. I got chain iced for playing kq on seperate browsers with myself. I'd play 20 games and cash in the gold keys, saving the silver ones for a lazy day. Got lots of SLM pieces, codestones and cheap PBs. Not worth losing those accounts. I'm ocd about names and was really pissed off over it.

 

My original accounts were iced when my little cousins got ahold of them. Little bastards. Jesus I'm a boring cheater.

Back when Pirate Krawk Plushies looked the exact same as the magical one I would chunk up the normal plushies and people would bid on them like candy. I got up to like 12m I think before getting frozen

I had multiple accounts for YEARs doing all the dailies on all of them and sending the good stuff to my main with no problem. Then I decided to make an Advent Calendar gallery and sent all the old stuff from my other accounts to my main. Chain frozen then next day...and scarred for life

when i was a lot younger my sister and i shared an account and were really obvious about it on the neoboards and such, and finally neopets caught on - not that exciting but it was a big deal at the time.

oh lol this one is fairly recent.

 

I learned how to use the AoB scanner a few days ago, and was testing it on an old, inactive account.

Some creepy user starts stalking the scores and sending me harassing emails.

So I obviously called him/her out on their passive-aggressive behavior.

 

Must have hurt some feelings, as the account was reported and frozen just moments later. 

(let's all pray the user was an angry 12y'o, as any other circumstance would be unbearably sad)

In situations like that it's best to just not respond and quietly report them for harassment. Would get a lot of harassing and passive-aggressive Neomails while I was kad-feeding (legit, mind you) and got them in trouble instead.

I had an account with tons of UC after the change and then was frozen fro cheating in games, even though my game score was 0.

 

No cheating, but accused of it blah.

I was 11 at the time, and thought 50k were A LOT of money. So I created a couple of account (4-5) and made the dailies on them and played games. I would then send the "profit" to my main account. 

Then I bragged on the Neoforums a lot about how I only had one computer to share with my many siblings and they all happened to play Neopets, and I would bully them to give me their NPs. I even made up a kind of fight on the Neoforums and insulted myself   Chain freezed some hours later. I was such a pathetic liar (still am).

When I was 11-ish me and my best friend both played neopets. She had saved up to about a 100k (which I found was a lot) and it made me extremely jealous. We knew each other's passwords because we were so close. Then one day the devil on my shoulder convinced me and I snagged that 100k from her account. 

 

She never found out it was me and thought somebody hacked her. And still to this day I have never felt so guilty and never have I stolen anyone's NPs

When I was like 13 I pretended to be neopets staff over msn and I got quite a few accounts from doing that. I am surprised that I never got frozen for doing that. I feel bad about it now.

Many years ago, i tried offering all faerie paint brush trades neopoints less a single zero.

managed to hit one...i guess that person didnt notice.

When I was 12 I logged into my friends account(his password was his name lol) and took his paintbrushes, neopoints and books and when he said what happened I pretended to have no idea lol

He had a purple paintbrush and I used it on my cybunny and he was like 'Yea I used to have a purple paintbrush too :('

I cheated someone with krawk plushie on my second account some years ago when they were rlly rlly expensive, I feel horrible about it, got frozen. First time I was frozen for using multiple accounts as I was like 8 or 9 or something and didnt know wtf a proxy was or how to use one, I did just dailys and stuff and sent it to main, I had a little empire going for quite some time...Third time I was promoting a ref link of a different site multiple times and somehow cant log in to it, the page just goes blank when I try to log in. And now I'm on my fourth account so cross my fingers.
