Been playing for many years but p till a year ago, I'd use my 5 or 6 accounts and just do dailies (sometimes) and transfer bigger items (i.e dubloons, advent items) to my main. I'd mostly not play except for around advent time. Yeah, I was a big risk taker. I had never heard of cheating on neopets to be a real thing. I have never been frozen (knock on wood), but after reading this I think I will leave the transferring items so casually alone. Hoping that things go well with this AC cup and my main doesn't get frozen.

When I was 14-15, I would search all avatar items on the TP: ZDAP, FQD, CS (Clawed Shield, one of the only ways for ITTPD at the time), Meowy, etc.

 

I would see if someone put the username of the user it belonged to, like if they were returning it, and I would create an account extremely similar to the account that was listed in the TP.

 

Worked three times, got 2 ZDAPs, and a Meowy from this but felt really bad. Got iced each time after transferring the item.

I was using some random ass autobuyer, can't remember what the name was, but I got iced and emailed a staff member directly. He/she replied back "If you send me the Autobuyer through mail I will unice you." I did it. I sent them the autobuyer. Their reply. "Thank you, your account has been uniced and put on probation." I seriously got uniced and they KNEW I WAS AUTOBUYING.

 

 

Another funny one, I got iced so much they took premium away from me. No joke, they cancelled my premium account on me.

back in the day i was using bab(badger), this is before i knew about proxies and ways to safeguard yourself when abing, i was running 4 abs and just wrecking havoc in defense and magic shops. abed 2 tears in 2 days and even though i wasnt frozen right away, when i tried to sell one a couple weeks later i was chain iced and ip banned.

Maybe they wanted to know how the program worked?...But I'd rather believe that staff member wanted to use it himself

In situations like that it's best to just not respond and quietly report them for harassment. Would get a lot of harassing and passive-aggressive Neomails while I was kad-feeding (legit, mind you) and got them in trouble instead.

 

eehh, I'm not quite sure how I should've reported her without drawing notice to myself, but remaining quiet would've been good.

Pretty sure I provoked the troll. ><

 

Anyways, lesson learned.

When I found the SS I sent the score needed to get the goparokko avy. 3 times. In the afternoon. And my highest score was about 4k? Luckily nothing bad happened, and I got the avy

I actually used to think cheating was wrong. Now I wonder why I didn't do it sooner.

When I was like 10 I was ridiculously good at Meerca Chase, and could get the avvie score in like 30 mins or something. The guild that I was in was an avatar guild, and I would log in on my friends accounts and get them the avatar. This one girl had a crazy good gallery, with paint brushes and morphing potions, and she asked me if I would get the avatar for her.

 

Logged on the account, got her the avatar, and then I changed her email to something that looked really similar to hers (using a lowercase L instaed of a capital i or something). Back then you only needed the password to change an accounts email (I'm not sure if that's the same!).

 

Waited about a month, sent her newpassword to my fake email. Profit. No one even suspected a thing.

When I first found out about aob's, I was like "oh cool! I can finally get the meerca chase 2 trophy".

So I ended up getting a really high score (insanely high) and thought nothing of it until I pressed 'submit score' and had no idea that they reviewed scores. And yeah that was practically asking for a freeze
That was my 6 year old account gone.

When I was 11-ish me and my best friend both played neopets. She had saved up to about a 100k (which I found was a lot) and it made me extremely jealous. We knew each other's passwords because we were so close. Then one day the devil on my shoulder convinced me and I snagged that 100k from her account. 

 

She never found out it was me and thought somebody hacked her. And still to this day I have never felt so guilty and never have I stolen anyone's NPs

 

My cousin gave me her password and I noticed she rarely went online, so I decided to steal her money too... It was only 30k, but that was a lot at the time!
